Item worked really good…was an exact fit…..had tried to find one locally at the 3 big building supply stores and none of them could even get it …. So I walked out in the parking lot at the Lowest store…..ordered it on my phone from Amazon and it was there the next day

I discovered that this would not work for my application. i was replacing an exterior door knob and needed a 5 inch backset latch.. Amazon let me return it with no hassle.

I ordered this and thought that it would arrive the next week. It actually showed up on my doorstep within a couple of days. Was easy to install and works great with the new Schlage doorknob that we bought. The original doorknob from our 1960s house broke and I struggled to find a replacement since the length of the latch was so long. This worked great. Highly recommend.

These are very hard to find for an older solid wood door. Needed this latch to work with new Schlage touchscreen lock with handle. Works great so far and easy to install.

What a lifesaver this is! Had a door that was from 1967 and couldn't find any doorknob set that would work with It until I found this gem. The doorknob is set in much further than a standard doorknob and I looked all over for an extension and this fit the bill perfectly. I was afraid I would have to buy a new door. Schlage is the best!

Works fine. The previous one failed after 10 years. I realize that one is a fair amount of time, but I have to say it's probably because there is one internal part toward the end that is plastic. Having the deadlatch fail is a little unnerving when you can't get in or out of your home.

Very quick delivery. Purchased the keyless Schlage lock itself from Home Depot but it comes with the standard 2 3/4" latch. I was dealing with an older door with a 5" length from door edge to handle, so I ordered this part and fit perfectly. I installed the lock and it works great.
