This bar works to secure my sliding door from being opened in addition to the door being locked. It’s adjustable and covers a wide range of lengths. It was easy to put together.

This is a good sturdy bar, I put it together and that is that. I made it just a tiny bit shorter than the door so it’s easy to remove and put back. Its grip is good if you need it super snug. The value was on point, good cost for what you get. It adds a level of safety to your sliding glass door. This also acts as a perfect Wish a Mutha F’er would bar. Perfect thickness for the door or to smack a burglar upside the head. So I would say functionality is perfect for dual purpose. Lol

Peace of mind that nobody can break into your home through the slider. I had a board there before but this item is much more professional and sturdy. Fits any width slider as it has several adjustments.
