I received amazing service from the Smart ink team after HP pushed firmware to my printer that was preventing me from being able to print and trying to force me to buy expensive HP brand cartridges. Smart Ink replied to my email literally within a few minutes with a solution and I was able to print again. Very happy with their service and their products, ink quality is as good as HP's at a substantially better price.

I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of this printer ink. Up until now, I have always used the name brand ink for my HP printer. I decided to take a chance and use Smart Ink instead, due to the significant cost savings. It has performed as well as the HP ink. Recently, I had an HP firmware issue that blocked the chip in the Smart Ink cartridge. I called Smart Ink customer service. The phone was answered quickly and a solution was provided just as fast. A few clicks of my keyboard and the printer accepted the Smart Ink cartridge and was working as it should. I will be buying this ink again in the future.

Great product and amazing customer service.My order was accidentally filled with all black ink. At first I was super stressed out about it. I reached out to Smart Ink to let them know about the product issue. I spoke with Kevin, via live chat. He was fantastic! After sending a photo of the issue, Kevin had new ink delivered to me within a couple days. The new product works perfectly and is compatible with my HP printer - this is significant as most of the time it can tell if the ink is HP branded, and if not, it won’t allow use of them. There was no compatibility issue at all with Smart Ink. Thank you for excellent customer service and affordable, high quality ink!

I ordered these cartridges to replace my HP8720 cartridges. Everything was working very well until my printer did an auto update. As a result my cartridge just stopped working because of the update. However, the support team was able to send me some instructions that helped update my driver and get me back on track. Amazing customer service and the cartridges print well all around. I was also instructed to “turn off auto updates” to prevent this from happening again. But the support team is always updating their software to keep up. The price point t is a very good deal as I spend over $120 to replace with actual HP XL cartridges.

The Smart ink cartridges worked great after the printer firmware downgraded to version 1849A. The firmware downgrade installer worked very smooth; it automatically defected my HP printer and performed firmware downgrade with the step by step pop-up screens.

I got this as a replacement ink for my 8720 HP Officejet Pro. Once installed the cartridges, the printer recognized them as incompatible. Despite the manufacturer's assertion that they are compatible. Also, it didn't help to follow the manufacturer's suggestion and turn off the auto firmware update in the printer. The printer simply did not agree to work with these cartridges.This is a piece of junk --- never again I will buy anything from this company.

説明欄に「HP OfficeJet Pro 8730に対応」と記載がありましたが、実際に装着してみたら互換性がなく、使用出来ませんでした。確かに、型番が違うけれど説明を信じて買ってみたら失敗していました。ただ、返品や返金対応はとてもスムーズだったので、助かりました。イスタンブールからの商品でしたので、返品はしないで返金をしてくださいました。

UPDATE AGAIN: Received a new set of cartridges about a month ago, thankfully just in time as my yellow was empty, and after inserting that one yellow cartridge, things have been STELLAR ever since - no more head cleanings every time I want to print, and quality is actually better than it was before. My guess is that my fdirst set of cartridges didn't sit well with my printer, so I am hoping the rest of this new set (which will be going in this week) will continue with excellent print results! For the cost savings, I think that in the end, it was still a very good solution to the age-old issue of very expensive manufacturer cartridges. Thank you, Smart Ink! (upgraded to 4 stars, can't give 5 as it hasn't been perfect)UPDATED: Originally, things went well. Move ahead a few months and I am not at all happy with this products performance. As I do not print every.single.day. this causes me to be forced to do a HEAD CLEANING EVERY.TIME.I.NEED.TO.PRINT - this wastes a large amount of ink and can only be attributed to poor quality liquid ink (After having been using these cartridges for more than 4 months, with hundreds of pages printed and a minimum of 40 head cleanings so far). I am very disappointed as, at this point, I am already down to less than 40% of the cartridge yield, with only 428 pages (of the 1200+ expected) printed. As I only do business printing (not photos or other full-page colour prints) this is well below the performance that is acceptable.PROS: Cartridges are cheaper than HPCONS: poor print performance, multiple 1st and 2nd level cleaning needed, excessive ink use, not acceptable yieldUPDATED RECOMMENDATION: Use only in a pinch, strongly suggest stay with HP Ink in this case.ORIGINAL REVIEW: What can I say? I picked Smart Ink as everything I read states their customer service REALLY comes through! (I did NOT need to use them, so far anyway).Pretty simple, my original 4 HP cartridges came to the end, and I had the Smart Ink already on-hand. Inserted the cartridges, saw the "HP can't guarantee quality" message and went on my way. Incidentally, the three colours went empty first, then the Black about a week later.I will say, I have had to do head cleanings twice so far (Which I never had to do, not ever, with the HP Cartridges) but I do know that their is likely still a bit of HP ink in the system that mixes with this different formalization and can cause small issues. So far (I know, I keep saying "so far" but I know things can change - IT DID, SEE ABOVE), The print quality and results are identical to the HP-brand cartridges.
