Been listening to it for the last 250 hours and here are my thoughts. Look, finish and quality is excellent. In a subjective matter, in comparison with my Fosi V3 it replace, it sounds a tad more oommph in the low's and a tad more sound stage, which is an interesting improvement for my setup. Internal dac is in theory a better chip than my Topping D10s; awkward USB A rear connector but there is a provided cable for and; when plugged to the pc as the soundcard, if the input of the amp is not usb, it is not visible by windows. It appears as an output device only when the input is set to USB.It might be a bummer if at your workstation you need to switch often of inputs between pc and other devices. All in all, it seems that for the price and my budget, I've reach a satisfactory quality and features limit without breaking the bank too much. For any 2.1 setup that needs a remote control (volume and inputs selection), haven't tried everything's on the market, this little amp is high on the list of recommendations. :)

Ordered an AO200 MKII but received the old version AO200 in the box. 3 weeks for a refund. I wanted to order again but no one at Amazon or Aoshida can guaranty or confirmed what I will receive.Waste of time and money. I now looking to buy somewhere else.I would give 3.5 for the trouble and 4 for the quality.I finaly decided to buy the same unit as a replacement, the quality of the MKii is outstanding at this price. Amazon and Aoshida where kind enough to give me a little discount but the trouble was not needed.

Betreibe das Gerät als Desktop Verstärker über einen SMSL D6s DAC mit Heco Aurora 200 Boxen und einem Mivoc Hype 10 G2 Aktiv Sub.Der Sound ist super! Besser geht immer, aber ich bin mehr als zufrieden! Konnte mich schwer entscheiden zwischen dem Fossi ZA3 und dem SMSL AO200MK2. Der ZA3 hat interessante Features die ihn sehr attraktiv machen... Wer sucht sollte sich auch den ZA3 anschauen! Jedenfalls bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem AO200MK2 in meinem Setup! Zum besseren Abstimmen am PC empfehle ich den APO EQ.

Après essai de toutes les fonctionnalités de l’amplificateur, je suis très satisfait aussi bien sûr la fonctionnalité que sur les qualités Audio branchés sur des enceintes, Mission de résultat est vraiment très bon, rapport qualité, prix imbattable !

This AO200MK II replaces a little Fosi T3 hybrid amp that cost less than $150. For about double the price of the Fosi, you get an integrated amp with balanced XLR and single-ended RCA input jacks, plus Bluetooth (supports LDAC), coax, optical and USB C digital connections, and that can produce about 3X as much clean output power in a smaller case. It sounds fantastic using the analog XLR or RCA inputs from a good DAC (I tried the SMSL D-6 and DO300EX), or a quality DAP. Using the internal Bluetooth and USB-A digital inputs gives less stellar results - still fine but not superb. It also has a line-level subwoofer output to feed an active sub. I am using this amp with Klipsch RB-5 bookshelves and 10" active sub, and it hands-down spanks that little Fosi with any quality recording. While the T3 had good imaging and a reasonably flat frequency response, the AO200 MK2 has more of everything: better frequency extension on both ends, a more natural midrange and an ability to paint an almost holographic sound picture that goes well outside the arc of the speakers with well-defined instrument and vocal placement that is almost palpable. With LDAC, the Bluetooth performance from a good DAC or DAP comes very close to the wired XLR analog inputs. The fact that one can get this high standard of quality sonics for less than $400 is a testament to the designers and techs at SMSL, and would have cost multiple thousands even a decade or two ago.

I use with my mac mini line out and with a Loxie D40 using the balanced connection , on my desk with a pair of Micca RB42, it works great, more than enough in a small room ,no noise at low volumen and having the subwoofer output let you have a complete 2.1 system. it handles very well the 8 Ohm 85db speakers .

Comments:Sad : don't usually review, I don't know why this is highly reviewed on Amazon , the screen is terrible the menu is horrific , no bass and if you use the EQ the bass distort so bad it will damage your speakers , they put the money in the body build quality as yes it looks really good and that's about it , the cheeper all in one crylic A50+ puts this to shame! Honestly disappointed.My speakers are paradigm S2My streamer is eversolo DMP 6

Received this integrated in excellent condition and sounds great as I expected! Definitely sounds like a $2000 to 5000 integrated amplifier. Great customer service from seller Aoshida as usual!

The SMSL AO 200 is a great little amp with plenty of power to drive any speaker.I have put my old expensive Pioneer receiver away. Paired with SMSL SU1 Dac it'sa great system.
