This unit is perfect for using a laptop. As noted, it is light, sturdy and comfortable. I slip it beside my sofa and the handle makes it easy to conveniently store. It is small enough to take up just enough space on your lap. It elevates your laptop to a comfortable eye level to take the strain off of your neck. I highly recommend this device.

The table is a great size for a Chromebook; however, I rated this as a 3 because the tabletop material is a bit slippery. I suggest a small "ledge" at the curved lap section to prevent a Chromebook or small laptop from sliding off the table, since the tabletop is too smooth. Other than that, the lap table is beautiful, light weight, and functional for a Chromebook, small writing table, or to use for a small lap dinner table.
