Comes rolled, but material is thick and high quality, so it holds no seams or shape from shipping. Mouse works like it should on this material.

The print quality on this pad is good. The colors are all bright and don't seem like they'll fade. Might be easy to get dirty, but I've already had to throw this one in the wash so I can say that it doesn't fade after one.Why I had to wash it... well, opening the package there was a weird white residue and smell over the entire mat. It was chalky, dusty, and irritating to the skin so I threw it in the wash. Whatever it was came off, but I'm sad to report some the printing on the edge is a little more faded and the ending point has peeled back to reveal the non-printed white surface. Not a deal breaker, but I've had others that lasted more than the one wash.Texture also became a little better with a wash. Couldn't tell if it was the chalk or the fabric, but it was super itchy before.

The mouse mat is a bit on the thin side, but I don't mind that. The edge stitching is cracked in one spot. The surface is reasonably smooth - I wish I had a premium mouse mat to compare it to. The image quality leaves much to be desired. I'm not sure if the base image was of low resolution or if the printing process itself is to blame.If you're thinking that the mouse mat will resemble a genuine wooden table with epoxy art in the middle, think again. In real life, the design is barely recognizable - especially close-up. What should be "wood" instead looks like a murky, yellow-brown glob. The mouse mat does brighten up my desk. So at least it has that going for it.At the moment, I'm debating if I want to return the mouse mat or if I can find something better at a similar price point. The mouse mat isn't bringing me as much joy as I hoped it would. Maybe my hopes were too high?
