I had tried a Cubii but was not satisifed by the motion or the inability to stand. I spend much of my day at a standing desk and so wanted the option to have primarily a standing, with occasional seated option. There are only a couple of these little compact models on the market that allow that flexibility, and I narrowed it down to the Stamina based on overall feedback and appearance.I am very impressed! I do really like the motion of this versus the Cubii. Yes, the strides are short. I am 5'4" and have been using commercial ellipticals a long time and there is definitely a marked difference from a full-sized elliptical. However, I do find more of an elliptical motion compared to the Cubii both seated and standing. It is not whisper quiet. It does sound a little like, well, an elliptical. But it's not an issue in my closed office. If you have cubicle mates probably better to look at Cubii or a desk cycle.Personally, I have not had an issue balancing while standing during use, however, for those with poor balance or new to machines in general, be wise to have a tall chair or bar or something nearby to hold onto at least initially.I already do workouts in the morning so this is just a nice way to get a bit of movement for 15 minutes or so a handful of times during long workday while I am doing certain activities - phone calls, virtual meetings, etc. According to my Apple Watch and Garmin, 15 minutes either seated or standing seems to burn about 50 active calories. I definitely feel it more in my legs than standing though, but may be as I am more used to a standing motion than a seated one for this.I also recently had surgery and had to restrict exercise/do low impact for a while and this was a great way to get some movement in and keep blood flowing when I was otherwise a bit limited. Recommend this for situations where perhaps cannot participate in traditional exercise or are limited. As a tip, I placed it on one of those plastic chair mats so it is easy to slide and turn around from standing to seated position, despite its weight. It is definitely not a light machine to be moving around, if you have upper body limitations.Overall, super pleased with this machine! I did read the reviews to keep some silicone handy so have a bottle stashed at my desk for that purpose too.

THE GREAT - Underdesk usage is awesome; it is very quiet; came super fast; well packaged; came with all tools to put it together and packaged well; construction is solid.THE MEH - I expected it to be a short stride for the standing usage however as a 5'5" woman, I still found the stride bordering uncomfortably short. I use it standing but takes some getting used to; It is heavy so for elderly/recovering/disabled folks this may not be the best option.THE BAD - Literally nothing. It may take some getting used to but I recommend it for helping you get a little more physical activity in the day!

We bight the product months ago and cannot use it anymore due to the loud noise it makes. Sounds like a bearing has failed. I recommend you do not buy this product as the manufacturer does not support it. Had a call from them but that was no help.

What an awesome product. I’m telling everyone I know about it. I’ve only been using it for 3 days so I can’t speak to the longevity of it but I can’t see it breaking. It was quick and easy to assemble. Didn’t even need the manual. It was pretty obvious what needed to be done.My knees go up maybe 2 inches when I use it. Doesn’t come close to my desk. Granted I’m only 5”2. So it’s not like that was a huge risk.It does make a noise when you use it. As the parts are gliding. But it’s subtle and not annoying. Like the background sound of a dishwasher. Or your freezer running. It’s def there but it doesn’t really matter.I wish my desk chair could get closer to it. But just based of the legs Of my desk chair I don’t see how. This isn’t a flaw of this machine just of the idea in general. But maybe if I wasn’t 5”2 I wouldn’t have to worry about this? Who knows.I’ve been using it for 2 1/2 days and I use it ALL DAY. I work from home and so just have my feet in it going at it all day. So easy to use. If you are on the fence with this one just get it. I can’t believe I’m working out with this thing. So easy.

This does not claim to be a full elliptical machine or provide a workout that is a good as a Peloton, but it is a fantastic little trainer that is very easy to assemble, smooth gliding, very quiet (if you put it on a rubber padded mat; I got mine at Dollar*ama for $3), easy to store and gives you a GREAT workout. The only thing I would love to see in the 2.0 model, is a greater range of motion (stride)...even just a few inches would be great. I work up a major sweat on this machine, and even though at first I could barely do it for 3 minutes, I can easily go 2000 steps in a workout while watching TV or listening to a podcast. I hold my black Pilates weighted 2lb balls while I step. Very pleased with this machine. (I also bought the silicone as mentioned, but haven't had to use it yet)

I was dubious of getting much benefit from the elliptical it figured that whilst watching tv it was better than just sitting. I’ve found that your legs can get quite tired so they are working. Also good for my knee that needs replacement.

Assembled in 3 minutes. It is very sturdy. The product was on back order when I placed my order but within 2 weeks, it was delivered to me. I bought this portable Elliptical Trainer for my work station. I had no problem keeping myself in-motion while working at my computer. I find it to be energizing and wonder why I waiting so long to buy it. If your work is mainly done at a work station, I strongly recommend this Elliptical Trainer. When I don`t use it, I simply push it under my desk. If you`re reading this, it`s because you are thinking about it. Just do buy it already. You will love it.

Fits well under my desk at work, comes with the tools you need to assemble in box. I am getting my mom one for work. Tip-get it delivered to your work address if it is for the office. I sit at work for ten hours a day, and easy get in five miles under the desk. Another tip, it has to be turned-around to not knock your knees under your desk. I am 5'10" woman, with a 33" inseem, and it fit under my work desk. I am also not great at assembly, but again, I assembled fine by myself.

I've had this product for a couple of months now and absolutely love it. I convinced my husband, who also works at home, to get one as well.I will say that while the product does get louder than when I first had it the noise really isn't that bad. It's not loud. It's just louder than it was. I haven't tried to oil it as some others have suggested but I think I'll give it a shot and see if that returns the noise level to what it was. Again, it's not loud... just a little noise. I walk on this when I have conference calls and nobody notices a thing. The workout is great. I have long legs (5'9" is fairly tall for a woman and I have a super short body. Most of that height is in my legs) and don't find the stride short at all. I think it is a great workout. I'm actually currently using it while writing this review and have worked up a sweat. It's pretty awesome to look down at my time at the end of the day and see I've actually been using the elliptical fro 85 minutes. It just doesn't feel like it because I'll go in spurts. The other fun aspect... my husband and I have competitions to see who was using theirs the longest.I absolutely recommend this product. Yes, for $100 I might have to buy another one in a year or two... but take any piece of exercise equipment that is heavily used and you will find yourself replacing it after a couple of years.
