This mount is great, the magnets are almost too strong. I mounted it to a metal tool box on my work truck, and had to fight like hell to get it off. I wouldn’t put it on my other truck, as I am afraid I would scratch the paint trying to get it off. I’m definitely not worried about it falling off! I drove 75 mph with my Starlink Roam Mini attached to it, and it didn’t move. The only thing I don’t like is, the base metal is not very thick so it flexes up and down in high winds.

Magnets hold very firm against metal. This will hold your starlink steady in windy conditions.

I really like how small this unit is. It fits perfectly with the size of the Starlink mini. This will be traveling with us from now on when we go camping.So why only 4 stars? The pipe they include to connect to the pipe mount adapter (that comes with the mini) does not have a hole in it to allow the screw to go through it. I went ahead and drilled a hole and then tapped the threads into their pipe so I can ensure the mini stays put during high winds. After that mod, the unit is rock solid and the dish will not move unless the mount gets sucked up as well.Overall, really happy with the size and weight of the unit, I just wish it had the screw slot already drill and threaded.
