Habe diesen Adapter genutzt, um einen alten Akustikkoppler (Dataphon) für ein Projekt wieder zu benutzen. Per USB am Mac angeschlossen konnte der Adapter sofort genutzt werden. (Im Terminal ls /dev/tty.* eingeben für die Liste der seriellen Geräte, dort findet man Adapter als tty.usbserial-****)Will man mit dem Gerät kommunizieren, einfach z.B.screen /dev/tty.usbserial-**** 300eingeben (Sternchen durch individuelle Nummer ersetzen, 300 steht für die Übertragungsrate 300 baud, das ggf. anpassen). Alles sehr unkompliziert!Perfekt, so wie ich mir das vorgestellt habe!

Pour le modem de communication. J'étais obligé de chercher et actualiser le drivers. Le logiciel sur CD était outdated pour win10.

Great product. Fast shipping. A couple of dollars more than some, but no issues with connection to a serial device or to get drivers . Also, the USB B plug is very sturdy, unlike the mini.

This is my fourth USB to serial adapter, the others have had the cord permanently fixed to them and the cable on the other three have broken, I love the fact that this is small enough for my tool bag and if I break the cord I have a few dozen other USB A-A cables that I can replace the cable and keep working. I have only had this since late February and to this point in time it has worked great.
