How to Connect?

It's easy to switch between multiple different devices while keeping the keyboard and Mouse connected. I've had it for just shy of 2 years now and it works like a charm.

Unlike many similar units, this actually seems to work with HDCP (needed when viewing netflix, or also a number of random websites use it for video clips). Other units would just make the screen go blank when a HDCP protected video played.Also had no issues with high refresh (1440p at 144hz). When using short, quality cables, everything seems to just work.Physically, it is nice and compact and the metal casing makes it feel very sturdy.Compared to most other KVMs at this price point, this is head and shoulders above the rest.Only had it for a few days, but so far very happy with it.

Initial impressions after a few weeks is that it just works. Using 4K 60Hz signals from a mix of PCs and Macs to a Sony TV. Switching is consistently fast.

I needed a KVM switch that could handle my 2 Mac Minis and my work laptop. This switch fit the bill, and I was pleasantly surprised that it was from the same manufacturer that made the switch it is replacing, which I liked very muchThe KVM switch comes with all the cables you need, and once setup looks nice, organizing all the cables behind it. Switching between computers works flawlessly.

Not a big deal in general, but I tried to connect with older computers having only a VGA port and no can do. Without Discernible FlawJust remember, the buttons sort of line up with the hookups; the button at one end is for the connection at that same end. I attached a grey uni 3 USB 3.0 port + Ethernet, hooked up mouse and keyboard...and the thing works in BIOS (will get you to bios). I'm sure not all, whatever they're called, will work as good but still. Time to switch computers is @ 7 seconds; I suppose you can consider that a flaw. Should be like 4 seconds, but part of the pride you pay for HDMI. VGA is probably much faster. I suppose one weird about the device is it requires a USB port for power which means you are either plugging this in the the power bar if it has USB, Wall Power Surge if it has USB or in my Case I hooked up to a computer with a Red USB port cause I know those ones get extra power. Doesn't come with a remote. Comes with 4 USB cables for OUTPUTS and 1 HDMI for Output; so you'll need potentially 4 HDMI cables and cable management; I used electrical tape, just took my time. That's only the cables for 3 computers.

I bought this KVM to allow me to switch a monitor, keyboard and mouse between a PC and a couple of Raspberry Pi machines and it just works. A single HDMI cable and a single USB cable to each machine and the monitor, keyboard, mouse and monitor plugs into the KVM and then you press the button to select which machine you want. I particularly like being able to select each individual machine rather than having to cycle through the 4 and there is a power switch on the back so I can easily turn it off when it's not in use. 100% recommended
