CARE & CLEANING: Store in a dry location way from direct sunlight, Do not store anything on top of the mat as it may cause permanent indentations, Do not apply adhesive tape to the surface, Keep away from direct heat, Never use corrosive cleaning products on mat, Be sure mat is dry before rolling up for storage. If necessary, clean using: METHOD 1 - Fill a spray bottle with water and add 20-30 drops of tea tree oil. Spray the mat and wipe with a clean cloth. Let it air dry unrolled. METHOD 2 - Wipe the mat with cloth dipped in soap suds or laundry power solution. Rinse with water and wipe dry with towel or cloth.

I am a Certified Balanced Body Pilates teacher and bought this mat to change up the colors in my online videos. It's thick and will cushion your spine and joints during floor exercises. The reason that I gave it a 4 star review is the branding. I don't like that the brand name is written across the mat. That's why I don't use it and it's in storage.

All the other reviews were right to say, you will not have to worry about knee pain with this mat.I absolutely love the thickness of the mat, but it is difficult to balance on during yoga.

I started doing pilates a few months ago and I was experiencing frequent discomfort in my hips, due to the side lying positions that are common in pilates classes. My gym has thick exercise mats, not thin yoga style mats. But my hips still really bothered me, so I went looking for a thicker, denser mat. This one was highly recommended on many websites and I understand why. It's so well made and has perfect cushioning.

I’ve had lots of mats to go with all the different exercise programs I’ve been into at one time or another. I recently got into Pilates and I was using my Lululemon yoga mat- which I do not recommend for Pilates! I really hurt my tailbone and it was rubbed raw. Ordered this and I no longer have to put a pad under my tail bone when doing abs! I love the length and the thickness is just right. Worth every penny.

I wanted a well cushioned mat to do core exercises on and this mat is just awesome . protects the knees well.The initial product received was damaged but a replacement was sent right away.Very satisfied with the mat.

If you are doing more advanced Pilates on a hard floor then this is a wonderful mat!! I wish it wasn't so expensive. I tried the much thinner (much less expensive) Merrithew Eco mat but this one is just much better for Pilates.I can't speak to durability because I haven't had it too long, but I'm impressed that the cushioning is firm yet not too squishy like some cheap mats. Also it doesn't stretch as you move like other cheap thick mats do. So I wish it was cheaper, but I think you get what you pay for here. It feels like the mats in professional Pilates studios.So far feels like a huge improvement for my Pilates practice, which I love doing daily.

These are not Stott Pilates mats but a different brand - Merrithew. They do not have the integrated ties like the Stott mats. It's an OK mat generally, but just not what I ordered. There is no option to contact seller here, so I am thinking of returning.

It's the BEST mat you can buy in my opinion. It was my husbands birthday gift and he LOVES it. He has trouble with his wrists when doing mat work and this takes that away
