They're designed for use with both friction ring anvils and detent pin anvils. Our two-piece bit socket design allows us to optimize the steel alloys, heat treatments, and forming processes for the bit and socket separately. This results in a tool that's higher performing and more durable than traditional 1-piece impact bit sockets.

These are high-quality sockets. They're great for strange and rare plugs on cars. I bought them to service a transmission and differentials on my Subaru.The case is injection-molded plastic, but has nice spots for each socket where they pop into place. This is really great for anyone who doesn't have tool box drawer space to house these and wants to keep them in the case.The only downside to these, which I think is just a side effect of their build quality, is that they are quite tall sockets. Attaching one of these to a ratchet creates a pretty tall stack. If you have the space, it's no issue, but if you're trying to fit it into a small space in a car, it can be too tall to fit, especially as you begin to loosen the plug.

Has absolutely everything I need. Working on forklifts this kit is an absolute life saver, use part of it almost every day, doesn't feel cheap, holds up to my 1400 lbft Milwaukee gun no problem and my 4ft cheater bar

I always like using impact sockets.All hex bit and torx bit sockets are all in one box. Those will stand up to abuse. Those will go in my service truck
