The Velineon VXL-3m forward/reverse electronic speed control simplifies brushless technology with easy, built-in profiles and intuitive programming. The VXL-3m uses advanced circuit design that allows sensorless brushless motors to operate with the smoothness and precision of the best brushed systems. It sets up, operates, and programs just like the Traxxas XL-5 family of ESCs so there's no tricky new procedures to learn. Traxxas' exclusive patent-pending Training Mode is also included to limit full throttle to 50 Percent for young or inexperienced drivers. For the most advanced users, the VXL-3m is equipped with two-stage low voltage detection to allow LiPo battery use, including powerful 11.1-volt 3S packs. The Velineon 380 Brushless Motor uses ultra high-temperature Neodymium magnets, high-speed ball bearings, and a precision balanced rotor for power and long-life. Since there are no brushes or commutator to wear out, the need for maintenance is virtually eliminated. The Velineon 380 delivers consistent, high-power output, run after run.

Removed my brushed system for this brushless system in my 1/16 Summit, and its perfect!Only complaint, is that the ESC does not have a connector for my light kit. I had to order the traxxas wire tap kit (as seen in photo) which wasnt a huge deal, just another wire I didnt want to have.

I've had many traxxas vehicles since I was a kid. I had their first T-Maxx.. Traxxas has always made good quality product and stood behind it. I bought a cheap brushless before this purchase and man do I regret it. The motor shaft was too small and the motor didn't even work. All that wasted time and effort when I should of bought the traxxas brushless from the get go. I finally bought the traxxas brushless kit for my kids two 1/16 4x4 slash. It so simple to install and super easy to set up. With a 2 cell lipo, it's faster than they can handle. Over love my Traxxas Brushless.

If you switching from brushed to brushless you need 3 more parts, cause the mount you originally have with you brushed engine is too big

I'm new to the world of RC hobby cars, and to get started I bought the Traxxas Slash 1/16 4x4 with the brushed system. After slowly getting my driving chops up to snuff over a couple of weeks, I quickly found that I was ready for MORE SPEED! I installed this set in minutes, taking time to set the gear mesh just right, then took it for a test drive. Wow. Sure, there are brushed motor fans, but this made a huge difference in the performance of the car. After I got some 2S Lipo batteries, changing the ESC mode to low voltage was super simple. This set made an already fun car even more enjoyable!

トラクサス社のフォードフィエスタケンブロックモデルを持っているのですが、旧モデルのためブラシモーター仕様でした。そこで現行モデルに搭載されているブラシレスコンボに換装するために購入しました。純正品なのでESCもモーターもピタリと無加工で装着できました。パワーもブラシモーターとは全くの別物で簡単にドリフトが可能になりました。取扱い説明書が英語なので、ESC設定に多少時間がかかってしまいましたが、ラジコンの知識をお持ちの方なら難なく設定できると思います。
