Nice quality, does the job. Only use good quality, thick ink in this. If you use any regular ink (especially a watery one) it'll ruin your stamp. You must use a thick heavy duty ink in this thing. If you use the "regular refill" ink for any stamps, it'll water down your stamp and it'll make it watery and blue and not dark enough to protect what you're stamping over. Also this thing does seem to use a considerable amount of ink, which I suppose is reasonable considering the large area you're covering with it.

I purchased this as my previous identity theft stamp was running out and it didn't have the ability to refill.Never had a problem with it (Next Deal Shop). I liked the idea of the Trodat since it's roller is a jumble of letters vs 'confidential' roller. I expected it not to work on glossy paper however, it didn't even work on matte paper. Once rolled you can still see the underlying print if you stare enough and can see through a magnifying glass. Best to invest in a shredder! Not worth the money by any means:(

What a neat little gadget. Now I don't feel the need to rip up identifiable papers or peel labels off of prescription medicine bottles before disposing of them. Ended up ordering some for Father's Day gifts and a pack of additional refills to keep me rolling.

Yes this works! Just don't push down to much, only roll it across what you want blacked out (just once) and let it dry. If you roll too much of the black ink it will shmear and show what you want covered. Make sure it drys thoroughly. Works great when used correctly!

Never knew this existed until I saw my sister-in-law using hers. This is a life saver. Although I still use my shredder for sensitive documents, this is great for general mail to block out your name and address. It is also great for address labels and barcodes on boxes and packaging with your name on them. The ink is very dark and seems plentiful. It comes with 3 refills so I know this will last me for some time. Makes a great gift/stocking stuffer. I think most people will benefit from this product.

I have a PO box and my car often gets flooded with stupid credit card offers or other various statements. I don't throw it away because my name is printed on it. So it creates a pile. Now that I have this it's a fun,easy swipe and a toss in the trash. I can leave nowing my car is free of clutter and my info is protected. Highly recommend. My family will be getting this for stocking stuffers. Huge help!
