On paper it seems great. In practice, it doesn't work. Monitors are DP only so I had to buy a new cable for my laptop, got a UGREEN (same brand) usb to display port cable and it worked once where I was able to set my refresh rate all the way up to 170 Hz (monitor's max). Switching to my PC works fine but when I switch back to the laptop, only the USB work, monitor doesn't.Worst part is I got it working sometimes. Sometimes it'll switch once then I have to unplug / replug the cable for it to see my monitor again. The other day it worked all day without issue. Today, I have to unplug and replug the cable each time I switch.The problem isn't the cables or the setup, I've unplugged and replugged everything several times and tried different cables. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Would be an awesome product if it worked but considering most of the time it doesn't work at all, I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this.

I was looking for a DisplayPort switch that I could use to connect my PC and laptop to a 49" ultrawide monitor (5120 x 1440 QHD). Both my keyboard and mouse can easily switch between devices, so my use case was to connect a USB webcam as well as a DAC to the switch.Installation out of the box was relatively straightforward. The switch came with 2 x DisplayPort cables and 2 x USB-A to USB-C cables (required to connect each computer to the switch) and switch button on a decently long cable. What didn't come supplied was a USB-C power adapter, which is required to power the switch. I used a spare 10W USB-C phone charger, which appears to be supplying sufficient power. As per the supplied instructions; on the rear of the switch I have connected the USB-C power, USB-A and DisplayPort in from both computers and DisplayPort out to the monitor. On the front of the switch I have connected the button alongside the webcam and DAC by USB-A. There is an additional USB-A port and a USB-C port along the front panel, which are not being used.The supplied cables were long enough for me to tuck the switch away under my desk with my cable run, but a longer DisplayPort cable may be required for some setups. The switch button is on a long enough cable to discreetly come up from my cable run and sit in a convenient spot on my desk.Operation couldn't be easier, just press the switch button to change inputs. Both the DAC and webcam are detected and operational straight away. Monitor resolution looks exactly the same as before, with no flickering. Both computers are used for productivity, so unable to provide any feedback on framerates for gaming.

Worth the price, I had an issue on with another KVM switch that would cause my monitor to flicker black when opening Netflix or Spotify, this one works great with no issues.

I am using this to switch between my desktop and mini pc, both has display ports that connects to a100mhz refresh rate ultrawide 1080p monitor via this device. I have one dongle for my keyboard and another one for my mouse occupying the usb a ports. Then I have the only usb c port connected to an audio dac. When everything works, it works great as I am getting the 100mhz rate. The two included display port cables appear to be of very good quality. The three seconds delay it takes to switch the screen is acceptable.HOWEVER, there were some flaws that ruins my experience. Sometimes when switching, the mouse would stop working for the desktop only - I have to plug out the dongle and plug it back in to another usb port. On some rare occasions the display would not show - I also have to press the switch button a couple more times then it works again. These issues don't happen often, but when it does, it is annoying.

Ziel war, einen Monitor für PC und Laptop mit 240 Hz bei Auflösung 1920x1080 zu nutzen. Funktioniert sehr gut. Einen Stern Abzug wegen der vielen beiliegenden Kabel. Die hätte man sich sparen können und das Produkt dadurch preiswerter verkaufen können. Kabel kann man sich doch extra in der passenden Länge kaufen, wenn man nicht schon welche hat.1 Stern wieder dazu wegen der (kabelgebundenen) Fernbedienung. Find ich gut.Der Switch wird bei mir im Moment nur zur Umschaltung der Monitoranzeige benutzt. Das Umschalten der Tastatur erfolgt bei mir separat, weil ich dadurch nicht für jede Eingabe (z.Bsp. Anmeldung am BS des Laptops) den Bildschirm umschalten muß. Ich werde das wahrscheinlich so belassen. Deshalb kann ich das Schalten von USB-Geräten mit diesem Switch nicht beurteilen.

Great product if you need to combine two setups into one. The build quality is surprisingly good for the price, and the impressive functionality makes it easy to switch between two computers. It also supports a 170Hz monitor at 2560x1440 resolution.

I've tested the video ports with 4K/60 and 1440p/144, worked flawlessly! Hopefully, it could buy me some breathing room for a higher fps display in the future. The IO ports are simply amazing as advertised. You don't need the additional power cable unless you connect a hard drive to it.The build quality is superb, compact and sturdy. The aluminum finish just gives it a premium look IMO.Overall, very satisfied with this switch. Highly recommended.

They give you TONS of cables that if you bought yourself would be half the price of the device.Works on Alienware AW3423DWFThe goods:3.0 usbs x3 -> wow1 usb c -> AND a usb c wowDP connections -> work at 165HZ QD-OLED display ultrawide.remote -> extremely fast switchesThe cons:MY laptop didnt work with USB-C only i had to use a USB-C to DIsplay port to get the video from my laptop. I have 5 USB devices pluged in which switch between the two pcs now without issue.Very happy with the device this will make my work/play life much easier. 5/5

Well made device, functions pretty darn smooth so far. Would have been FIRE if ugreen made the micro USB button/switch indicate which source you’re using.

I ordered this KVM switch after having a bad experience with another one I ordered a few days past. I am basically looking to set up a single 27inc 1440p @144hz display and various accessories between my desktop and laptop.I got this today and it worked perfectly! It was easy to set up and works exactly as advertised. My monitor was able to get the 144hz refresh rate and both my laptop and desktop were able to detect GSYNC compatibility. The switch between the computers is also very quick, takes only about 1 second.The build quality on it is pretty good. The wires provided also feel like good quality. It doesnt come with its stand alone power supply but that is not needed as long as you properly connect the usb c to usb a cables.It is only day 1 so far but I will continue to test and update review if needed.
