I bought a 2 pack. One is fine and I would give 5 stars. The other was packaged with the red metal cover plate shipped loose and the screws loose inside the packaging. Thought this was odd as the first one was fully assembled. When I tried to insert the screws and put the cover plate in, I discovered the screw holes were stripped, making it unusable. I hate when a manufacturer ships an item they know is defective rather than dealing with it before shipping

Looks like this is built pretty solid but the little screws to retain the spring mechanism are too short and won't engage the threads????Now I need to find some replacements or figure a way to hold it together???

These are sturdy, easy to adjust, and smooth rolling.I used to bend over, cause myself tremendous back pain, and slowly feed wood through the router by pushing it into the gate and over the bit.That was a terrible way of doing things.Now, after adjusting these wheel feather board, and clamping a board on top of the gate, I can feed wood smoothly through the router while standing erect and upright. Not only did these help me do a better job, they allow me to do it without hurting my aging back.

The set of feather boards is incredibly well built and thought out with being able to adjust tension, optionality as far as using the t slots, the quality of the bearings and knurled brass screws and aluminum housing and the overmolding on the thumbscrews is excellent.It's an incredibly smart set with so much attention to detail that it really puts my homemade wooden feather board to shame.Unfortunately, each set had a flaw: the left-hand adjustment screw couldn't go in due to a misformed thread in the aluminum body. To resolve this, I disassembled it and used a M8X1.25 tap to clean out the threaded hole. Aside from this issue, it would have received a 5-star rating. I hope my set was an anomaly and not a common issue.After properly fixing the thread and reassembling the feather boards, they worked perfectly for my needs. I simply clamped these down on my bandsaw, as it doesn't have a T slot to work with. Using a single wheel at its lightest setting puts out about 9 lb of pressure, and with two wheels, it's about 14 lb. At its highest setting, it provides about 22 lb of pressure.Based on my experience, I can't fully recommend the set.
