The uxcell KSD301 Thermostat 150°C/302°F 10A Normally Closed N.C . worked perfectly. Take a photo of the inside of the coffee maker before removing hoses! If you failed to take a photo and removed the hoses, you can blow thru the tube with the stop-cock ball to see which direction the air flows freely, and which direction is blocked. Here's the idea: water flows from the reservoir into the heating coil; the hot water/steam from the heating coil MUST NOT flow back into the water reservoir. So reattach the hose with the stop-cock ball to the end of the heating coil which receives reservoir water, and orient it so that water flows freely from the reservoir into the heating coil, but is blocked from flowing back from the heating coil into the reservoir. Attach the hose without a stop-cock ball to the other connections, where hot water flows freely upward from the heating coil to the drip. Lesson hard-learned thru sheer stubborness.

Replaced switch in Mr Coffee that quit working. Usually, you have to replace the switch or one of the fuses. Beware that the original connections to the switch are welded and you have to add some crimp connectors to fix; soldering is not an option. Also, most youtube videos don't mention you need a special security screwdriver to open the Mr. Coffee.
