Our VFD comes with a 10-layer intelligent protection system, providing security against overcurrent, overload, overvoltage, and phase loss. The external casing is made of durable plastic, ensuring high performance and quality from the inside out, giving you peace of mind during use.

vfd 1 phase

Stable and efficient operation relies on large cooling fans and a multi-hole heat dissipation design, preventing overheating and overloading during extended operation. Tips: Vertical installation is recommended to ensure effective heat dissipation.

Installation Tips: Turn off power when connecting wires; never connect AC power to the motor output. For VFD protection, press red 'Stop' button and power off when not in use. External braking resistor is not supported. Avoid installation in humid or high-temperature environments

Well, what should I say. I blew up two of these before I learned what not to do. The first two I ordered directly from Vevor through their app on my smart phone. Now, I had asked a ton of VFD manufacturers (mostly on EBAY) if I could install a 3-Phase EMI filter between their VFD and my Atlas-Copco scroll air compressor. Most folks said (in essence) "sure, go ahead." So I did.The first one blew up like an M1 Garand gun shot. Vevor replaced it, no questions asked. The second one just quit responding to programming instructions after over-current error messages and going around and around with Vevor tech support. They refunded my money, again, no questions asked. Then, my BSEE neighbor suggested that the capacitors to ground within the EMI filter could be acting as a dead short on the VFD output, said output containing a very large high-frequency component. So, I removed the EMI filter and Voila!, the third one I ordered from Amazon (and had to pay $40 more) worked. Only now, I'm stuck with trying to figure out how to cut down on the EMI which will destroy the bearings in my very expensive compressor motor before long due to common mode noise coupling onto the ground wire which feeds into the motor through the shaft and arcing the bearings (called fluteing). I've ordered two large ferrite cores covering two different EMI frequency ranges around which I'll wrap 5 to 6 windings of each phase which should help a lot.Yeah, I ordered via Amazon the third time since I was too embarrassed to go back to Vevor directly yet again. However, I am very impressed with the support I received from Vevor. All I had to do was reference the Vevor order number in order to get support and that order number is stored in the app, no paperwork to keep track of. Plus, Vevor has a 12 month warranty under which they will travail with you while you get things worked out. Amazon gives you just 30 days (but I don't know if an Amazon order would make any difference to Vevor's 12 month warranty.)Now to address the manual. It's fairly complete and mostly has to do with programming the few hundred programming parameters available but you'll probably only have to address less than a dozen. The trouble is, it's in Chinglish and very difficult to determine just what each parameter actually does. This is where tech support saves the day. Without tech support, I don't think I could have ever made this VFD work. The unit appears to be very high quality but the little manual is atrocious. (Why do they spend so much on hardware development and cheap-out on the book? I don't know; must be a Chinese thing.)Lastly, I must confess that I felt rather stupid being that I was an Electronics Technician in the US Naval Submarine Service and subsequently spent a career as a Silicon Valley Tech Writer. I just thought I should disclose this.PS: The metal enclosure I used to house all of the interface wiring and an EMI filter on the INPUT to the VFD (which is okay), was also provided by Vevor and it's also of very high quality.

This is a great VFD for the price. I am using on a metal lathe to convert single to three phase. It works well. This is not a plug and play VFD but requires some knowledge to get set up correctly. You tube has some helpfull videos on important parameters to set. It has all the features of a high dollar unit. Including braking capabilities, remote 2 & 3 wire control. I can't speak of how long it will last but I am impressed by what I have seen. I bought a 10hp to run a 5hp motor, its over sized so it should last.
