Don’t bother buying. It won’t work. Perhaps a $200 - $300 kvm switch will work, I don’t know. I’ll switch cables around manually before I spend that kind of money.

The cables were long enough but found that the video signal dropped when the USB cable was unplugged from the computer. After finding the correct(?) port it worked ok and the computer recognized the keyboard and mouse ok. Little confusing but not a event killer. Everything else worked using the same procedure on the other 3 computers as they were connected. Works great for the price. Would buy again now that I know the process. The manual is general and sort of applies to this item. Could be a lot easier and more informative.

I have purchased 3 of these over the course of 6 months - 1 year. Other buyers have had problems, but these have worked great for me. They’re easy to install and get connected, simple to use, and they’re cheap. You’re not going to get 4K quality out of this, it’s cheap VGA, you can expect cheap VGA quality. That said, I recommend this for a home/home office or home lab. For professional work (or if you need high quality display) I would definitely buy something higher quality.

Just needed a quick solution to share a keyboard, mouse & monitor between two machines. Ordered this little KVM switch, arrived the next day. Just ripped open the packaging, tossed the instruction aside, plugged in the cables and it worked flawlessly. One button touch to switch between machines - VGA (15 pin) monitor connections required - not for HDMI connections.

Hooked up two solely VGA monitor output computers in about 5 minutes. Works just like it should. No problem.

This product barely functions. Regularly have to reset by power cycling - most of the time it doesn't connect to any of the machines. Complete waste of money - avoid.
