I read reviews about the bottle leaking out of the top but I had hopped they had fixed the problem by the time I ordered.Unfortunately that was not the case 😞Ps: the leaking water is unfiltered and it gets on your face when you drink from the spout 😣I have sent the seller a message asking for assistance.I am in southern Mexico wanting to use the bottle and I won’t be back before the return date 😞I picked this bottle as it was one of the few that filtered viruses.

I bought this brand new just recently for a trip to use in Vietnam. I followed all the instructions including soaking the filter overnight and then flushing correctly. I flew to Ho Chi Minh on the 21/07 and tried drinking the municipal tap water using the bottle through the filter. The taste seemed okay and I trusted the bottle would keep me healthy. The very next day evening I was having multiple bouts of vomiting and diarrhoea which made me very weak and unwell. I barely had any energy to explore the city due to the sickness. Luckily I have recovered. I would NEVER trust this product again to use on municipal tap water let alone out in dirty lakes and/or rivers. Please stay away and consider buying a better bottle (read some peoples’ opinions of this bottle and company on reddit if you don’t believe me). I am highly regretting not paying more money to invest in a trustworthy bottle like a Grayl.

I bought this for a trip to Morocco. I needed it (for real) when I was sleeping in a cave. I was glad I had the option. It does leak, despite some reviews saying the newer model doesn’t. Maybe I didn’t get a newer model?So, five stars for providing potable water.You have to suck kinda hard to get it out though.Four stars for being a little leaky.

I’ve been using one of these for a while, purchased this one for my somewhat anxious husband. He appreciates the fact it filters out particles as fine as viruses! Great for international travel and/or camping. No more plastic bottle waste!!!

Excellent for what it is. Can you filter lots of water? No. Can you filter water for yourself? Yes. Any outdoor activity, you already have a water bottle, why not have one that saves you from turning your shorts into the aftermath of a day at Taco Bell.

This purifier filter bottle from Water to Go is handy when you are suddenly out of potable water. The included filter will block out all the bad stuff you can hydrate drinking water from suspect sources. Water to Go says the filter can be used to replace 400 regular water bottles which is a decent amount. I would think this number will drop if the water used is on the dirtier side, but I would likely replace the filter after a couple of uses. The replacement filters are not cheap, but it is much less than buying a new bottle. By the way, the actual water bottle itself is just like a regular water bottle with the necessary threads for the filter. You do need a go amount of suction when drinking, but this is expected for this type of filter design. In my opinion, the 20 oz bottle is a better deal compared to the 27 oz as you can easily refill. Unless the additional 7 oz capacity is very important, the $35 CAD difference can go towards a replacement filter.
