About this item

  • NON-SLIP FEET: What good is a step stool if your child is constantly losing his or her balance because it’s sliding around on a slick floor? The WOOD CITY wooden step stool employs anti-skid mats on the bottom of its feet. It helps your little one to stay planted on top while the stool stays firmly on the ground. Recommended ages 3 plus.
  • FIT PERFECTLY WITH THE WALL: The improved rear side design allows the stool feet to be completely perpendicular to the ground. Don't worry that your child's feet will fall into the gap between the steps and the wall.
  • DURABLE CONSTRUCTION: This step stool for kids is made out of durable natural wood (0.6" thickness!!!), hold up to 200 pounds. Unlike other stools made from cheap material that breaks and cracks under trivial stress, our step stool can easily handle your child and whatever mayhem he or she decides to throw at it.
  • DEVELOP INDEPENDENT & SELF-CARE ABILITY: Help kids climb up to reach the bathroom sink, kitchen counter, and bookshelf. They can brush teeth, get onto the potty, wash hands and take items on their own. Perfect kids training helper & learning tower!
  • 13" X 14.4" X 13.4" SIZE: The standing tower is the perfect size to match your standard counter height and not too bulky! Handle holes on the sides are suitable for children’s little hands to grip. This stool can be moved anywhere in the house because it is light in weight.

Been using this eveyday since we bought it. No wobble and very sturdy. We use it as kitchen stool at times but its mainly stays in the bathroom for kids.

This stool was easy to assemble and seems to be great quality. My toddler uses it every day in the bathroom and it has held up great. It doesn’t seem like it could support an adult. I tried once and didn’t feel like it could put my full weight on the stool without breaking it. But it is of course meant for toddlers so that doesn’t bother me.

This stepping stool arrived well packaged in an attractive looking box. So it'd be a nice item to gift to someone. Everything you need to assemble it is included inside the box, except a screwdriver. It was simple to put together. However nothing was labeled so it took me longer to put it together than it should have taken. Although it was assembled within 25 minutes. The parts are good quality. And it seems sturdy now that it's assembled. It has enough weight to it in order to keep it steady. But not too much weight that it's difficult for an older child or adult to move around. My daughter is 18 months old. She knows how to walk and climb stairs. But she can't step up this stepping stool on her own. She fell off it once. But didn't hurt herself since it's not very high off the ground. And it will tip over if she doesn't distribute her weight evenly. She weighs 24.7 lbs. All things considered, I'm happy with it. And I'm glad I ordered this stepping stool.

This stool is one of my favorite “everyday” products! If you want to encourage your toddlers independence during bathroom time this is a great help & much easier than constantly lifting them for handwashing, teeth brushing, etc. We own a few plastic stools, and is petty as it may seem the scraping sound against the floor drives me insane. We leave this aesthetically pleasing wooden stool by the sink & I don’t have to hear any of that!

Poor build quality. Not worth the money

I am excellent at assembling Swedish furniture. I say this for context because this step stool was terrible to build. Even with adjusting the flat heads on the nuts, I stripped one screw, had to use an elastic to adjust several screws, and ended up just using wood glue for another one. The wood seems fine but the hardware is so low quality as to make the product nearly impossible to assemble.
