Merino wool is changing the game in so many ways, here's why it can't be beat:
- It’s Thermoregulating, so when it’s worn close to the skin it will act like a natural thermostat for your exterior body temperature. It does this by wicking away moisture from your skin when its hot and holding moisture in the fabric when it’s cold out to keep you warm. In fact, it will pull 10 times as much moisture from the skin than a synthetic fibre plus it can absorb 30% of its own weight in moisture – so when you’re sweating, your clothes won’t feel wet.
- It’s naturally odour-free too so it won’t stink, which it achieves by managing the moisture on the skin to prevent the build-up of unwanted odour. This means you can wear it several days in a row without washing and it won't smell!
- Since the fibres are so thin, some 15-23 microns, it’ll dry quickly and is also durable, with the ability to fold over itself some 20 000 times making it 6 times stronger than cotton. Its also wrinkle free and machine washable so it takes very little maintenance.
- Greatest of all, there’s no itch and it’s a very comfortable and soft fabric. With this kind of versatility, you can wear it during your most strenuous activity or while lounging around at home.

We live in Canada, which has recently been suffering from very low temperatures. The undergarment was a present for my son, who is very happy with this gift. He works outdoors a lot and really appreciates the warmth his new underpants give him. Sorry, he refuses to pose in his underwear. Modesty is next to godliness, after all.

For the price of these long johns I was very disappointed they are very thin, and rip really easily. Don’t spend the hundred bucks get a pair of Walmart ones they’ll last longer and they’ll keep you warmer.

I wear these as my main base layer for all chilly/cold weather activities. They keep me toasty while mitigating that gross sweaty feeling nicely. It feels high quality, and isn’t scratchy. I’ll definitely buy more in the future!

These long johns are true to size, wear well, don’t shrink when washed per the instructions. They are a little thicker, warmer, and more durable then some of their competitors. I have been impressed with this company’s products and wear wool long johns or briefs all year long. More comfortable and much less smelly then polyester or cotton alternatives

I have worn these all winter (except washing days) and I can comfortably go outside any time of day, at any temperature, and things are great. Later in the season I tried out some polyester long underwear and I always wake up in a sweat with those, so I prefer this wool product. It seems like I never sweat, they do not seem to hold a smell either. Was worth the price even though it seemed a bit high. Update 09-2022: Ordered a second pair. As soon as the temperature drops these are great, and slim enough to fit under my summer/fall clothes which is great as the seasons change.

I live in Manitoba, Canada where winter temps can reach -30C. So far we haven't had this temperature yet but some cold days with the windchill factor. I wear these leggings under windpants on those days. They are super soft, warm and comfortable. I thought they would be thicker knit but so far doing the job for warmth. I am a 67 year old woman who often orders men's clothing for sports as it is always cheaper - why?! I am 5'3" and about 128 lbs. so would have managed well with size XS in men's but this size small that was available fits okay, just a bit loose. Back to why are men's clothing cheaper - when more material is required to make the "crotch envelope"?

I do not right reviews often. Usually for things that are bad. This is the exception. I love this base layer. We have had a dump of snow and -20c weather lately. I have been wearing this every time I shovel or go out for a long walk. They are warm, and they wick moisture like nothing I have ever used. I come inside and have to separate my layers to dry. My shell is dripping with moisture and I am still warm. I do not over heat and I do not get cold. After 4 wears shovelling snow, these do not smell. I will be buying more for me and my family in the future.

i got these because i was looking for wool pants base/thermal layer, kind of like a sweater for my legs. i also tried them with the matching shirt. the first thing i noticed about these was how they didnt appear to be wool at all, the fabric is soft and almost silky smooth, and its very thin as well. the craftsmanship is also excellent, seams and material were all well done, and there were no tags sticking off it to scratch or itch while wearing them. the fit is excellent, im 6'1", 210lbs with a 34 waist and these fit perfectly and snug.unfortunately i had to return these, i did not find them any warmer than the normal cotton long johns i wear under my ski pants, though they were a better fit and overall more comfortable, they are also far more expensive than the cotton version. i felt really bad because these were so great but just too expensive over normal long johns with no added warmth i couldnt justify keeping them.

I had to send them back unfortunately. For me a base layer should be fitting. These were loose through calf and thigh. The material was nice and comfortable on the skin. The other thing was the waist was a bit tight for a medium and they were too long for me. I'm 5'7" and they were bunched up at the ankle, coupled with the loose fit, didn't gel well under jeans or pants.
