I have been using these for cutting aluminum wire for chain maille. I have the Pepe Tool, but when I'm teaching a class and need something quick, or even have a straggler that didn't get cut with the Pepe, I have been using these. They cut real well. Bought 2 sets and gave some away. Great value. Sharp. Good size. Light weight.

Read the description. I'm usually pretty good but didn't realize this time, these are BABY shears. Not sure how long they'll last but if they do, I'll 'up' my review to 5 stars.

I ordered these garden snips/scissors to go with my WORKPRO 7 Piece Garden Tool Set since the set did not come with small snips. These little garden tools are a delight to use. Aside from being small and compact, they came with a protective shield over the stainless steel tips both preventing injury and preserving the quality and functionality of the tools. I used them to dead head, cut small unwanted sucker growth on plants, chop up perennial trimmings for the compost pile, and prune small plants and shrubs. They are compact fitting nicely into the palm of my hand and do not require undue pressure to cut as they should. I even took some dried up daylily leaves that had been pulled and tried to cut them into smaller pieces with my old garden snips with no luck; the old ones just gnawed at the dried leaves. These little gems, however, just chomped those old leaves right up into little bitty pieces, aaaammmaazing! I have enjoyed using these sharp, efficient, effective little snips and will order again if the need arises.Top 3 Likes:-Lightweight, small, but sharp and versatile-Easily managed by small, large, or arthritic hands-Sold as a pair making it seem like 2 for the price of 1Top 3 Dislikes:-Some may find the small size off-putting-Locking mechanism is plastic which may be an issue long term-Best used for specified jobs

These snips are very well manufactured. Brilliant cap so you don’t inadvertently stab yourself if it’s in your pocket… sharp small and exactly what is needed .. very happy

If you are looking for something small, safe, fits into your hand and easy to use these pruning shears are for you. We bought these to replace our old worn out shears we used to collect flowers out of our garden. The local Garden Supplier and Hardware Store had a variety of shears but were too large and cumbersome for someone with either arthritic and/or small hands. These shears are ideal and there was a bonus in that we got two for the price of one.
