Manch einer wird vielleicht meinen, das ist ja nur ein Domino-Spiel, nichts Besonderes, aber die Art und Aufmachung des Spieles ist schon besonders, im Vergleich zu dem, wie man es vielleicht üblicherweise kennt. Das Spiel ist so, wie es optisch gestaltet ist, die riesengroße, hochwertig verarbeitete Holzbox, in der alle Spielsteine enthalten sind und sämtliches Zubehör, welches man für diese Art von Domino Spiel benötigt, definitiv ein echter Hingucker. Das zum einen und zum anderen macht es natürlich auch großen Spaß mit diesem Spiel zu spielen. Somit kann ich den Kauf dieses Spiel auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Ich habe schon mehrere Produkte bei diesem Anbieter gekauft und alle sind stets hochwertig und sehr gut verarbeitet, werden immer pünktlich geliefert und das immer auch sehr gut und beschädigungssicher verpackt.

When my daughter mentioned being introduced to Mexican Train at her neighbour's, saying how fun it is, I did not delay in looking for a set to add to our nightly routine of playing different games. I had never heard of Mexican Train, but I trust her, and knew it would be fun. Figuring it would be certain to be used for years, I decided to look for quality, and this set stood out on Amazon. No regrets!It is was delivered double boxed to protect it during shipping. The wood box is better than I would have wished for-- very nicely crafted! Everything needed was neatly packed inside the box.Never having played, there were some rudimentary rules included in the box. Talking with friends who are familiar, it soon became apparent that the rules are a bit all over the place, with different people playing different rules. I finally tracked down some really clear, well written rules (four pages) online, printable, and now we go with those. It's not difficult to learn at all, but that there are widely different rules being followed makes it initially a bit confusing to learn. Settling on one, clear set of rules fixed that.We also were exposed to the set some friends have, which is the lower quality one widely available for about half the price. I can tell you, I would never trade our set for that-- this one has a real solid feel to the 'bones', the trains are cast metal not tiny plastic things, the wood station is solid-- not to forget about the beautiful storage box. With the plan to use this for many years, I am satisfied this is the set to have.Finally, there was one very tiny issue with our set, not anything important at all, and this company has the most fantastic customer service. Mary at Yellow Mountain immediately took care of that, even though it was nothing really effecting play.Five star game set, five star shipping, five star customer service. Highly recommend!

This is a quality set. Smooth wood pieces and heavy weight tiles feel very nice to play with. I like the metal trains, as opposed to plastic. I wish the set included wood racks to hold the tiles, but these are available elsewhere. The storage box is lined and is sturdy. This set is a little more expensive, but is worth it if you appreciate quality.

The wooden box and hub are beautifully made with very nice finish. Unfortunately some of the tiles had little speckles of colour on them so I contacted the seller. Customer service is outstanding!! They replied immediately to my concerns on a Saturday and sent a replacement. I would highly recommend this company based on both the product and service

It is a superior quality dominos game with a sturdy wood box. This game will last for a very long time. If we manage not to lose any pieces, it will be handed down to my daughter.

This is a great product. It is durable, easy to see the numbers, has a beautiful case that would make it a beautiful gift. The only thing we found lacking was in the rules. Although well written and easy to follow, during play, questions came up that the rules didn’t cover. However, we carried on and had great fun!

The box was broken upon arrival and the lid is completely detached. Otherwise the game is completely playable and enjoyable.
