Tight fit, which it has to be as there is no locking mechanism like on blade cover that comes with the saw (Based on the was my belief - so no surprise, just pointing it out)The screws which came with the inserts are two long. With the insert level with the saw table top, the screw heads are above the insert. Additionally the screws have a very sharp point on them, unlike the original screws which are flat. Need to file them down to A) shorten them and B) provide a flat surface for them to sit on.

Having a zero clearance insert on the table saw has so many advantages. It helps reduce tear out and helps make sure smaller cuts don't fall into the blade well, among other things. I have made a couple for my saw in the past and it takes so much time to get it just right. This is made more of an issue because you have to account for the part of the blade carriage that comes up to the top. If you don't add a cutout for that, it will push the insert up. It's also annoying lining up the holes for the adjustment screws as well. So seeing four of these for a decent price, I had to try them out. They exceeded all my expectations. They fit perfectly. They are easy to set up with the adjustment screw holes and they get a very clean slot around the blade. Having the riving knife slot in them is such a nice touch that often gets overlooked but is critical for safety. They just work so well and are so easy to get started with. Save your time and just grab these and get back to work on your project instead of fiddling around with making inserts.

These are much better than I expected. They are made from some type of medium density fiber board with is fine as that tend to be perfectly Flat and what you want in an insert. The laminate top is well adhered and kind of like a non slip melamine surface. Comes with screws as well. I am very happy with these and they fit my Dewalt contractors saw. Nice to have.
