Very well made. I like the handle. Gives you a good grip. And it's just long enough to work well. I also liked it. It's metal, not plastic. And I appreciated the note that the seller sent even before I received the item assuring me of any service they could render they would do so.

Don't cheap out and get a plastic one, this metal unit is a beast, it'll last forever and withstand a lot of pressure. Nor will it snap off if a certain spouse loses her balance and steps on it...Plus, when it's kept by the front door it's within easy reach if any pesky nogoodniks show up and you need to give their noggin a floggin'.

I used to buy shoehorns made of wood and plastic but nothing lasted. These metal shoehorns are the best for the money spent! They arrived in good shape with a small paint chip (no effect on use). It feels heavy and solid in hand!The handle cover is not real leather although it feels nice in hand. I would give this product a 5 star if they were.

Got these as replacement for Ikea ones that break too easily. After several months of use it had to be said that the metal is too soft and will lose shape easily. Pity as they look nice otherwise.
