I needed these to mark cities and landmarks on an old corkboard I had used for my backpacking adventure across Japan in 2017. I used the corkboard then to draw the map of Japan so to map out my route with string and big pushpins. After the trip I took it down, and the board has been in storage ever since. Now, 5 years later, Im reusing the board above my office to hold my work schedule and other things. However I didnt want to use those ugly-thick push-pins again (see top left of photo for how big they are in comparison!).This pack is wonderful, as it offered a variety of colors. I had thought I only needed red, and only bought this variety pack because its smaller pin size. I got lucky, as the white added an awesome contrast that I didnt realize this project needed. It looks far better now with the mix of red and white. And the smaller size is perfect, doesnt stick out too far. Anything bigger wouldnt have looked as good.I am so happy I took the jump and went with this variety pack.
