Excellent for PreK and K age students - easy to read and follow instructions for how to introduce the instruments and activities to use for simple instruction. Covers how to use many simple percussion instruments.

A must-have for kindergarten educators who love to share their love of music with students. I would have given 5 stars if it came with a CD to accompany the lovely songs. I use it every day in my program.

There are some really good songs and action ryhmes in this book. I have been looking for a book that has some different, but not too complicated, songs for the children to play instruments to, use body percussion or do actions to, so that they can learn how to keep a beat and copy a rhythm. I am a Nursery teacher, so I bought this to teach three and four years olds, but it would also be good for five and six year olds too, in my opinion .

This is a great little book with lots of fun and simple activities to do with really little ones. A lot of these activities are so simple that you will think "I could have come up with that" but now that I'm a new mom and back to work I'm happy I don't have to. I can just choose one or two of these to add to help make my lesson more fun.
