I don't know very much about trimmers or their string, I'll admit. But I was able to easily load my Dewalt trimmer with this string and got my entire yard trimmed. I found it to be durable, especially considering that I was probably trying to get it to do things it's not supposed to. HahahaClueless housewife trimming approved!It also came with a lot in the package. I didn't even put a dent in it when loading my trimmer. It's going to last me for quite a while!

This line fits my husband’s Stihl FS-250 weed whacker perfectly. He loaded it up on the trimmer spool and went out in our backyard to test it out on a big patch of overgrown green grass. The line performed like a champ. He likes the star shape and remarked that it has more cutting angles with this shape and he was impressed. A great value price for this line.

Current price point at the time/date of this review: $14.99 with no discount/coupon being offered. Pricing is overall fair however shop around for a good (or better) deal and/or a longer length. This particular set is fair as is.Comes in a unique shapes which does seem to offer a more clean and direct cut over the more typical type. Generally well designed and well built and with a reasonable material quality. Fits ok but be sure it’s compatible with your particular trimmer about output/spooling size.Seems noticeably stronger than my previously loaded string.

Star shape is ideal for sharp cuts and tougher weeds... but the star shape isn't typically as durable as a normal round line against rocks and stones. I haven't used the whole roll of string yet so I can't comment on how long this string lasts.Read about the difference between square, star, and round shapes and make sure you're getting the right shape for the kind of trimming you're doing.These are made of basic orange plastic material... not fancy compared to the twisted, braided, metal-wire etc that other brands use.

Nice and strong weed trimmer line. It cuts well and lasts alot longer than 065 line That my husband was using. Luckily he uses a gas trimmer so going to a bigger line didn't effect performance like it would on a battery trimmer. Strong, cuts well, good price. Win Win
