Used all 10 stakes to keep outdoor and indoor plants alive whilst on holiday for 14 days. Most worked but some didn’t. I followed exactly the same process for all stakes so I couldn’t tell you what went wrong with the plants that didn’t get any water.As the small hoses are quite tightly coiled in the packing and very light they tend to spring back up and float on the surface of the water so I had to loosely attach each hose to a weight to keep them at the bottom of the water containers. This is something that could easily be fixed with a better design and a built in weight at the end of each hose.

I have two from a competitor and another source which easily pull water from jars beside the plant. I think only one of the 10 can accomplish this task they are designed for. I have saturated the ceramic bottoms in a full sink, remove the air bubbles in the tiny connecting tubes and fastened them on...all underwater to prevent air locks. Blah!
