The fossils are fairly good quality, but the amber is fake (didn't honestly expect it to be real 😕) All written material is in Chinese, so the educational value to those who don't read Chinese is fairly low. Neat fossils though, any fossil lover would be happy to receive them.

As of this date, June 2024, the normal price of this item is $16.93. A 10% discount is available to apply at checkout.I was really looking forward to these specimens, but unfortunately, the product did not meet my expectations at all. Here’s why:Firstly, the product descriptions are entirely in Chinese, making it impossible to understand if you don’t read the language. This was not mentioned anywhere in the product listing.Secondly, the size and shape of the specimens vary significantly, and some of them have small defects and cracks, due to the nature of these pieces, those natural imperfections make them interesting pieces to see.Additionally, the high-quality sturdy plastic specimen box was not as sturdy as advertised. It felt cheap and flimsy, and I’m worried it won’t last long. Half of the spaces didn't have the sponge protector so the pieces were just shaking and bouncing everywhere. While these specimens might be practical for classroom teaching, the poor quality and defects make them less ideal for this purpose. The lack of presentation, protection and of course, English descriptions, are definitely not worth gifting to anyone, especially children who are interested in paleontology.Overall, this product was a letdown for me, and unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
