I don't own a boat, but got these since I usually wash and detail my own vehicles. They are good quality fairly thick towels with hemmed edges. I expect them to last a long time. You get 12 towels which I measured closer to 15" square as opposed to the advertised size of 16". Personally I would rather see larger sizes and fewer towels, or even better yet, a variety of sizes for different applications, but that is a personal preference. The 2 different pile sizes on each side is a nice touch. At the list price of $30, I would probably not recommend them based on cost alone, but I see they are now reduced and can be purchased for $17 when combined with a $3 coupon. If you need some quality cleaning towels for your boat, vehicles, or other items, these should serve you well, and for $17 seems to be a good value.
