Much too small to be of any use. While the globe holds very small amount of water and one would need to refill at least once a day, the pipe itself is just too small to be of any use. Even on a small pot, it just doesn't go deep enough in to reach the root area. The quality is also not the best - the opening is different on all of them, some cut straight, some elliptical, some are openings are smaller, some bigger than others.
