I was actually expecting some lower quality motors when these arrived. I hooked them up to a variable controller to test them out, and am really looking forward to throwing these in a crawler I am building! Great price and value. Just make sure to check your voltage and you are staying within the recommended voltages (12v)

I am reviewing these because I got them to power a large RC vehicle I'm building. They are designed for 12V, but will run at a lower speed at 5V. Be aware that they take a LOT of current. At 12V they pull about 1.3A, at 5V they pull 0.8A. However, if you put a load on them, they really start to pull serious current, as most motors do. For example, at 5V, as soon as you put a moderate load on them they quickly draw over 4 amps. Point being, you will need a pretty large battery to supply the current these take.

We needed one of these for my 3 yr olds car since he held the throttle after running into an obstacle and it burnt up the motorThese were a solid replacement, next time maybe we go brushless and 18 volt when he learns to drive betterGreat solid swap for burned up motors
