Neither my wife nor I have ever used a portable fan when walking; if it gets that hot we’re not interested in going for a walk no matter how much breeze a fan generates. That being said, fans such as this are very handy in the confined quarters of our sunporch, sitting under an umbrella on the beach, or for keeping us cool when we decide (which is rarely) to sleep in our vehicle. This unit is somewhat different from other portable fans we have used simply because it employs two fans rather than one. It weighs roughly a pound and can be worn attached to a belt, the waist of your pants, or even the straps of a pack. It comes with a lanyard which can attach to either side of the unit so that it can be worn around the neck. Happily, the unit has a small fold out stand that allows it to be set on a table or other flat surface. The device can be used as a fan, a small emergency flashlight, a warning light, or as a power bank for electronics. It is controlled by three buttons that are located on the side of the unit just above the digital display which indicates remaining battery charge. The first operates the light. A long press of this button will turn on the flashlight with a second short press turning on the emergency flashing SOS beacon (it’s white, not coloured). Short presses will take you between these two functions while another long press of the button will turn the light off.The fan is actually controlled by two buttons. The one marked with a fan operates in a similar manner to the light button. One long press of button turns the fan on to its lowest speed with additional short presses taking you through three additional speeds. Short presses will allow you to progress through the four different speeds; the current setting is briefly indicated on the digital display before the remaining charge is shown. You will need a long press to turn the fan off. The second button for controlling the fan is marked with a spiral shape; it exists for the sole purpose of turning the fan’s “Storm” mode on and off (a long press is required for both). The “Storm” mode is, obviously, the fan’s highest setting and cannot be activated in any other way. Needless to say, the higher the fan’s operating mode, the greater the noise it produces; at the fourth and fifth (Storm) levels the sound is quite significant.A USB port is located under the flip top panel underneath the three control buttons and the digital power supply display. It allows the unit to be used as a power bank for the emergency charging of cellphones and other electronics. The unit is, of course, rechargeable. The USB-C charging port is located under the same flip top panel as the USB port. The unit requires six to seven hours to recharge with the resulting charge lasting up to 40 hours depending on what functions of the device you are using and what power level the fan is operating on. The unit’s remaining charge is indicated as a percentage on the digital display beneath the power buttons. When the unit is charging, a small recharging symbol (a lightning bolt) appears on the digital display which also flashes the current charge level. The required cable for recharging the unit is included. This fan is capable of producing a powerful, refreshing breeze, particularly in the “Storm” mode. It’s extremely versatile and would even function perfectly as a desk fan on an office desk. The light provided by the flashlight is sufficient for quick car repairs or a short walk in the dark. The device is very solidly built, if you chose to carry it while you are walking, you’ll likely notice its added weight. While it may not be something I’ll be carrying about, I must say that I’m super impressed by the unit. At its current price of $42 CAD it’s very competitively priced for a device with these features. I see it getting a ton of use! Highly recommended.

This is a very strong waist fan. I have several we use when working outside and this one, because of the dual fans, is extremely good. The controls are easy to reach and operate and it has a very noticeable cooling effect, especially on max. The waist clips are good, and have pop-up stands if you would want to maybe set on a table and angle upward. The only issue I have is the shirt clips, which are way to too tight and not very convenient to work with trying to insert the hem. Either larger or slightly looser clips would work much better. Overall I do like this fan and will use as a first choice, but do see some struggle initially putting on due to the shirt clips.

I was excited to check out COMLIFE’s Waist Fan, Flashlight, and Power Bank portable unit. As a hiker, camper, and longtime resident in a frequent hurricane zone, preparation and tools like this are always of interest to me. I like that this unit is made of thick plastic, so it can really withstand some wear and tear. It weighs roughly a pound. It can be attached to a belt or fannyback, your waistband in the front or backside, around your neck, or strapped onto your backpack. The clips hold well, and it feels sturdy without being bulky. On the side of the unit there are the three main control buttons. The first is a steppable button for the brightness of the lights, then the next two buttons control the fan. The first fan button has the similar steppable functions for the four fan speeds. The chosen fan speed setting is briefly indicated on the digital display before the remaining battery charge is displayed as default. The second fan button for is denoted with a spiral shape, this is for the fan’s highest setting which is Storm mode, it is noisy and quite strong. The fan arrived almost fully charged, so I strapped it on and went out to get a little yard work done. The powerful airflow kept me cool in the 92 degree temperatures while working in my yard. I kept laughing and smiling at how well this fan was working. The Storm setting literally could have blown my shirt off, I felt like I was in a Beyoncé music video about raking leaves. That 14500mAh battery is super powerful and long lasting. The up to 14600RMH air flow is outstanding for such a small device. I got a couple hours of outdoor work done using it on the high fan speed, and the charge level barely moved. The unit requires six to seven hours to recharge with the resulting charge lasting up to 40 hours depending on what functions of the device you are using and what power level the fan is operating on. TheUSB-C charging port is located under the flip top panel next to the USB port. Charging my phone and other items with this is a nice bonus. If you want to use this as a table fan, it has a small sturdy foldout wire stand to prop it up with. This is a small and mighty little unit. Guess you can say I’m a big fan of this little fan!

If you're looking for a high-quality, portable fan that’s versatile and reliable, this one ticks many boxes. Here’s a breakdown of its key features:Key Features & Ratings:Design & Portability: 9/10Comes with straps to hang around your neck and dual-sided clips to adjust the fan's direction. It’s also equipped with pull-out prongs to stand freely on a table. Great for both hands-free use and portability.Build Quality: 10/10Excellent structural build, survives drops without issue. Feels sturdy and durable, with a premium finish.Airflow: 9/10The wind speed and air volume are impressive for the size. It provides a strong, refreshing breeze that keeps you cool even in hot conditions.Noise Level: 8/10Quiet on low, but on high, it’s a bit louder. However, it's not overly noisy and is generally unobtrusive.Battery Life: 7/10Battery doesn’t quite last the full 7 hours on high or 60 hours on low, but it holds up for about half that time. Decent for daily use but not ideal for long extended periods.Size & Weight: 8/10A bit larger than some other fans, so not super compact for waistband use, but its performance and air volume make up for the size.Light: 10/10Ultra bright light build in and can be used simultaneously while the fan is running.Charging ports: 10/10Hosting options for both traditional USB and USB-C makes this a great portable charger for phones, speakers, and other small electronics.Final Thoughts:This fan delivers excellent cooling power, durability, and versatility. While the battery life could be better, it’s still a strong performer that’s built to last. Great for anyone who needs a portable fan for on-the-go use or as a stationary cooler. Highly recommended for its quality and functionality!

I'm a devotee of the 1-fan variant of these, having a whole menagerie of colours, and these are just double the fun! Despite that, the prescient upscaling of the battery (10Ah for single, 14.4Ah double model) keeps them just as competitive as the originals. They're also ruggedized, so they have both cushioning built in, and covering for the charge/output ports. I cut those off mine, as I use them indoors with these nibs, but yea.Anyhow, they are *heavy*. Not as in debilitatingly so, but especially if you wanna use more than one, you're gonna want a belt. I gotta do some real witchcraft prior to starting my treadmill run to keep my shorts on - but... I do have four lol. Still, very substantive and not a direct scale up from the 1x fan model - so if you are looking for something a little lighter, I'd very strongly recommend considering that variant instead.Be wary though - among the 1x Fan models, there are 10Ah and 5Ah versions. The 10Ah ones are much nicer. Sorry, tangent. So, there are some minor drawbacks to these that I'm not quite so fond of. The 10Ah version has a single, easy-to-locate press-to-cycle-power-levels button. These do not. For some... peculiar reason, they are long-press to start (same button as used to cycle levels, now only 4) and then have a special button to make them to go "high" power mode (note: this is different from the scaling levels, it's sort of like nitrous to a car I guess). With where and how the buttons are arranged (third one is in that row for the light functionality) + the thick silicone covering (heads up - it contains the buttons too, there are deep wells otherwise, so you need to keep those on) it can be very difficult to find them via tactile feedback. The clips are also INSANELY tight. It's like 2-3 weeks now, and I'm still struggling to get them onto my relatively thin waistband. My advice? Cut some cardboard shims from like a cereal box or something, and leave em under the clip when you're not using it to help loosen it up a bit. Part of it is how my clothing is constructed, but there are also some somewhat exposed stitches in my shorts, and these tore those like all-get-out trying to take them off.Heads up - they are sold under a bunch of brands, not just Comlife proper, so shop around for pricing. I noticed either Shellbox or some other vendor was 2-3$ cheaper than the others, so it is variable. Same item. And always check the battery capacity! While I haven't seen any yet that are smaller than 14400mah, it's bound to happen like did with the 1x Fan variants going from 10Ah to 5Ah (disclosed, albeit). That said? I still genuinely like these. They're awesome and keep me a hell of a lot cooler doing my treadmill workout. It's normally in a pretty stuffy room, so I'd be sweating bullets without these. During the winter it's nice cause I have a fan blowing more at my legs as the air sinks in through the window, and these'll catch it and put it under my workout top. At least this country's good for free AC!-1*: The buttons are not very tactile, and the clips are waaaaaaaay too tight. Personally, if I wasn't fighting for space on my waistband, I think I'd still put my vote in for the 1xFan 10Ah variant just for its manageability.========================== Overall View: [😊] ==== - 😦🙁😐😊😀 + ==========================

This is the most powerful of any portable fan I've used. I love the idea of having a big rechargeable battery that can last a several hour hike, work, lounging outside. Now, granted, I didn't test this in very hot weather. I didn't have to, because it's not an AC unit. It's a fan that blows ambient air, same temperature as the rest of the air that surrounds you. However, it's the rapid air circulation that helps with sweat evaporation which has the cooling effect.I don't know if I'd use it on my belt as some of seller's pictures show. I might. I can see myself holding it right in front of my face to cool off. It has to clips-stand so you can set it on a desk or any other flat (ish) surface at 45 degree angle and let it rip.It has a light which is very bright, and a USB port to charge other portables. I didn't test that as I have lots of other ways to charge my phone, etc. The light has an SOS mode, which is fine but, com'on, I wouldn't expect to ever use that feature. Does anyone know ...---... (SOS)?
