I had been using my Sony MP3 player for 10 years when it would no longer charge and I had to replace it. I bought this one. I am not a techy person and I have crippling anxiety, so it was a lot for me. Most important thing is that I couldn’t upload straight from my former MP3 player since it would absolutely not charge anything. I had to upload the music to my computer and then go from the computer to the new MP3 player. I don’t think this is mentioned in the manual. Then it charged. I don’t own a Spotify account or anything, so I can’t speak for those apps, but the instructions manual says something about removing them if you don’t need them.To listen to your music like with your former MP3 player, you need to go to the Music App (top left corner), don’t go through the File Manager because it won’t work (and will not read .wma files). With the Music App, it does read both .mp3 and .wma files. Those are the two I have, I can’t speak for other type. Shuffle, repeat and so on are possible, but you have to play with it a little bit to get the hang of it.You can but don’t have to use wifi to use it as an mp3 player, so don’t stress over that.I emailed customer service and they replied within 12 hours (it was a Tuesday, I don’t know about weekends or holidays), they were very eager to help.

The battery in my old iPod was finally fizzling out and quickly loosing it's charges. As I searched for a replacement MP3 player I wanted to make sure it allowed for multiple playlists. This item was advertised as allowing for the creation of multiple playlists for your songs. I am happy to report that it is very easy to create and edit multiple playlists. I was also looking to utilize the FM radio to enjoy sports broadcasts when I was out of the house. The FM radio feature is better than I had hoped as it automatically scans for stations and lets you save them as a favorite station. You also have the ability to manually scan up or down one frequency at a time. The Bluetooth setup was quick and easy and sounds great. The file transfer is as simple as advertised. Plug into your PC or laptop and then click and drag the files onto the MP3 player. One note that I hope will help someone with the file transfer. Once you transfer your files you need to "scan" the player to find the files. They don't automatically show up on the player under the music app. In the music app under your profile there is a scan feature. Use the scan feature and choose "all folders". I found that I had a few different sound file types in my collection. If you just click scan it won't find all of the songs as some are relegated to a different folder since they are of a different file extension. All I know is when I scanned all folders it was able to find them. Another thing to watch for is that if you purchased songs from iTunes then those songs are protected. They will transfer but not show up as playable on the MP3 player. You can search the web for a number of easy solutions to that issue (yes I found one and am good to go). I think this is a fantastic value for your money. I don't use most of the apps as I simply want a MP3 player for music. This player comes loaded with various apps that you can simply uninstall and free up memory. The player comes with a tiny SD card that pops into the side of the player to give you tons of memory for your songs, books, pictures, etc. I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good MP3 player but not busting the bank in the process. Thank you.

I ordered one of these for my son for Christmas. It worked for one week and then would not charge and would not turn on. I assumed it was just faulty and sent it back for a full refund. I then ordered a new one because they sound perfect and I still thought it was just bad luck... But the new one won't even charge or turn on straight out of the box. Really let down because my son had his heart set on this.

I really hope they keep makeing these. the music and video players are rather nice. I it is kind of a pain to side load apps but for what it comes with is nice and works well especially when playing audio books or personal off line video content. the speaker is a little quiet but usable. works great with my 400g micro sd that is almost full of conntent. it does get stuck on wired headphones though. still my go to device for off line content. works good for my audible content as well. Wish the battery lasted longer though.

I really wanted a device that was lightweight and could easily fit in my pocket while working out at the gym, or outdoors. I wanted to be able to transfer my music from iTunes that I have on my iPad, and be able to use my wireless headphones. This device checks all of those boxes. It took me a minute to figure out the transfer process, but I’m not at all tech savvy. Watch a YouTube video. All your questions will be answered. Make sure you connect your two devices via Bluetooth under settings in your Innioasis. It’s a great little device that weighs less than your cell phone, and costs a lot less if anything were to happen to it. Detach yourself, and enjoy your workouts. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because it doesn’t pair to my Bluetooth speaker in my home, but that’s not what I bought it for anyway. The sound is good. It delivers what it promises. I’m a happy customer!

...if you buy an extra micro SD card, make sure you buy one with the higher speed. I got a cheap 20 quid one and not everything transferred, the few bits that did the playback was tinny. I returned that card and bought a high speed 1tb micro sd card, not only does it work for transferring the sound quality massivey improved when playing back on this mp3 player. So those who have issue with sound quality, invest in the better micro sd card and the play back is fantastic. Now the mp3 player itself, its light, small, easy to charge. You will have to go in settings and make sure the volume is up the first time, but after that it is fine. Everything opens lightning quick and playback lasts all day. What I love is, I have close to 1tb of music organised in folders on there, spotify and audible and even some videos. I can switch between anything instantly and playback is fine, no buffer issues or anything like that and it works so quick. I use wireless headphones an wifi on mine, so the bluetooth and wifi obviously should drain batteries quicker, but I never seem to have an issue, I use it for hours at high volume and scroll through it continuously and the battery lasts. I still charge it each night and unplug when it reaches 100%my critiques are only minor so it doesn't really affect rating. One is the player used for music can take a little to get your head around at first. The other is when scrolling through your mp3's it doesnt display the whole name, unless you can change that in settings somewhere. It displays the whole name when playing an mp3 but not when scrolling through. so do make sure you organise your music properly.it comes with an Aux cable (very handy) some ear buds (I haven't tried because I use wireless headphones) but no case, not even a pouch, but you can buy a case for it on amazon and I really recoomend you do so.It aso displays mp3 art, but doesn't seem to on folder art, if you changed the .ico file to the album cover on your compuer, this doesn't seem to read that, unless of course there is a different setting, but it will display the attached images to mp3s, but for someone like me who uses .FLAC and .WAV files, it would be good to have it display folder art.
