This is a very nice, mostly authentic, die cast model of an F-35B in flight. The same company makes a different model in the same 1:72 scale of the F-35B with the landing gear down, the STOVL liftfan open, and the STOVL swivel nozzle pointing down. The markings on the two are different, but they still pair well together. This in-flight model has no moving parts. The doors are glued on and can't be opened.Unlike some models that claim to be 1:72 scale, but are significantly off, this one is almost exactly to the correct scale. An F-35B is 15.6m long, and 1/72 of that is 21.67cm. This model is about 21.7cm.The stand is the weak point. The tabs that go into the plane easily break off when you try to remove the plane from the stand. Maybe they expected that it would be mounted and never touched again, but I doubt that anyone does that.Aside from the flimsy stand, I'm very happy with this purchase, especially when paired with the second version I mentioned earlier.

It's very cheap made and I tried to put it on the stand and it came a part and the stand lock broke as I was trying to attach it together, I got it for my nephews birthday and I was embarrassed.
