The clip locks go on my crossbody bag to secure my phone and keys to strap because the crossbody bag straps can unhook! I almost lost my phone. Just an extra clip to hold it together.

The springs on these clips are excellent. Bought to deter thieves from opening my backpack. The small clips perform excellent. I have not used the bigger clips yet. This set is a bargain compared to the name brand, and just as effective . A great purchase from Amazon.

These clips are well made and have strong springs. I am not sure why they are described as "Theft Deterrent Anti Theft" since they are made to easily un-clip....They are a bit large as a zipper clip but handy as a keychain carabiner or to hang a water bottle or other small item from your backpack.

Great clips for the price! These are made well enough to withstand a good amount of force, although I haven't tested them with any serious weight. Good for camping and hiking or any situations where you need to clip a lanyard or rope to something.I like having these on backpack zippers and tent ropes. These zipper locks are essentially the same design as the S-biners from Nite-Ize, and work well. The machining is good, with tolerances and a slim, rounded-off design that has pros and cons. The smoothness is nice in the hand and during use, but it results in a slightly sharper inside edge at the attachment point, which might cause a bit more wear if you’re connecting something heavy to a weaker fabric or something that’s likely to fray, or using it with something that has a lot of motion and tension to it.The gates are steel, but I’d hesitate to put any mission-critical reliance on these. There is no packaging documentation or specs at all, so I wouldn’t trust any weight tolerance needs. For light use like connecting a couple of zippers or a water bottle, however, I don’t think it will be an issue.Another minor quibble is that the black finish is prone to chip or show wear, and indeed, some even displayed marks before use. For the price, however, the value seems good, and gives you plenty of attachment options for bags and other accessories.

These clips are great to have on hand. They are really practical to attach things to a backpack. Having the double clip means they are easy to attache to anything and easy to attach to. The package comes with clips in 4 different sizes so you really can use the one that is right for the job. I wouldn’t use them to clip anything heavy or of great value since they are certainly not support strong, bu they are more than adequate to attach say a hat or gloves, or even a water bottle.

The product description refers to "lock" functionality, but that seems to be what they're calling these: zipper locks. I've never heard of a S-carabiner being called a zipper lock, but I suppose they could be used for that. This pack of 24 includes a nice variety of four different sizes - the attached photo shows how they compare against a regular ballpoint pen. For $10 CAD at time of review, this is a pretty good set - while there's no plastic double-lock, the carabiners themselves are solid metal and the gates have enough spring force to keep them closed. Obviously they can't be used for any high strength or safety applications, but to clip two objects together with them spaced and not rattling against each other they're great.
