Strong enough but didn’t realise they are in a case so wanted to put pens and markers in in drawer still used them and if you want them on top of desk or cabinet will be ok

So my fault in that I thought these drawers were fully separate when in fact they are in sets of 4.They “attach” in so much as there is a small groove that fits together but I wouldn’t call it secure by any means. When they’re vertical they come apart so easily. I imagine the grooves work better when the units are horizontal.My main issue is that they are oh so slightly too small for many of the items I’d prefer to use them for. While they can fit many different objects including your standard highlighter, pens, sharpies and even an art knife I was disappointed that my paint pens, coloured pencils and paint brushes did not fit.As per the image items that fit are on one side and items that did not lay fully flat are on the other - while they technically do fit they minimize the storage capacity when they don’t lay flat. So my coloured pencils for example will need different storage, which is a disappointment.They do however fit my Cricut joy pens so I will be keeping it just have to change how I was planning to use them.

I have an extensive pen collection and I've started transferring the pens from storage books to these acrylic holders for more ease of access and it's been one of my favorite purchases on Amazon in the last few years.The acrylic is soft and the drawers slide in and out easily, they hold a TON, as you can see from my photo and they're enabling me access to pens and other art supplies I'd otherwise have had to pull out of zippered trapper keeper like bags so it saves me so VERY much time.I fully intend on buying more, a lot more.
