I've had to move these from being a wall mount to a ceiling mount because the locking nut that holds the VR satellite in position never seems to hold for long before it starts drooping. Not much of an angle needed for ceiling mount, but I'm not a fan of putting holes and screws up into the ceiling because they never hold that well. The satellites aren't cheap to replace, so I've attached a short chord to the wall in case they do fall (wall is covered in 2" acoustic sound dampening foam.

The body is constructed of metal the paint finish is very clean. I bought these to mount my ASUS portable monitors, which have a 3/4 screw. The mounts fit perfectly. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to mount cameras or in my case 3/4 screw mount devices.

Our VR space in our theater room had a ledge along one wall about 5' high that we have had our Vive base stations sitting on since my daughter got her VR setup for Christmas. Until I started reading about it recently, I didn't realize they were supposed to be situated at 45 and 225 (or 135/315) degrees to the ideal coverage. It's also better to get them high up in the room, if possible, to reduce potential light source blockages such as people, pets, or even the VR player. These come in basic packaging with the needed mounting hardware. They are a mix of thin but sturdy feeling metal and plastic. The base station screws all the way onto the screw there there's still some thread left to cinch the included locking nut down on them to keep them from rotating side to side once mounted the way you want them. There's a second locking nut mechanism on the portion that controls vertical and lateral adjustment. It seems well designed and I do not think I'll have any issue with the base station wanting to shift or droop over time.Installation was quick, probably 15 minutes or so. I would purchase again if I needed to mount more base stations.

I've been using these for so long I almost forgot to do a review on them. They are metal and have held up great! Make sure you tighten up the wingnut as tight as you can so it wont sag. Its a pretty simple mount that has made using the Index way more convenient. I highly recommend these mounts!
