These work great for a slow watering option. You can control how much water comes out from a slow drip to a larger amount of water.

These are even cuter in person. It's a great gag gift but a bonus that they're functional. The gauge functions and you can control the drip!I recommend the slowest infusion or else it's the same as dumping that much water in the soil in one shot.

I was surprised by how well it works. Its basically medical equipment converted for home use. I go the trip rate down very low and it lasts days. I wish there was a bigger "bag" option but for keeping my window plants alive this will do and it is so no hassle compared to other options

I bought this as a Christmas present and it looks super cute in my sister’s room. She was so happy. And her plants are now hydrated.I don’t know if it’s easy to refill, or how often she needs to refill it

Easy to setup. Lasts for about two weeks on two potted plants. Had difficulty securing one of the tubes.

I purchased these primarily because i have neighbors who have fungus gnats that find their way into my apartment and i needed an option to keep the top soil dry so they wont find my plants appealing. I tried the glass bulbs and they did not work for me at all. These work well and only a small portion of the top of the soil gets wet - where the drip stake goes in.I set mine to 20 as the instructions say and overall this works well. Ill occasionally pull it back to 10 or turn it off for a day if it seems the soil is really wet, but this is only on my smallest plants.I don't find them all that hard to fill. Put the tube of the bag under a thin steady stream from the faucet and its fine. I used a mini funnel the first few times but this really isn't necessary. Just use a thin stream. As another reviewer notes, you do have to push air out a few times towards the end. As everyone else notes, the metal hanging stakes are too short and too weak to work alone, so Ive rigged each plant a different way depending on its circumstances. It took much more effort than is ideal, but once you find a solution its done.I did have one get some mold growth in the tube that leads to the drip stake. I had to find a tool thin enough to go down that tube (interestingly the hanging stake itself worked) to clear it out, but that worked. The only problem is that once you pull off the small tube from the control valve, it doesn't go back on all the securely. Its the only one this has happened to over two months of use, but this may present as an issue for others if the conditions are right for mold growth so Im not yet sure if this was a one-off.All-in-all from my experience the product functions as described. I find it a bit more work than Id like, so unless its solving a specific problem (forgetful watering, out-of-town for a week, fungus gnats :), traditional watering is probably still the best approach. Once I move or my neighbors move, I imagine Ill go back to a watering can. There are larger bags Ive purchased for larger plants that are a bit easier to work with and require less monitoring, but they are too big for smaller house plants, so thats why I went with these instead. Not perfect, but my plants seem to be happy with the arrangement and Ive not had any gnats take up residence in over a month now.

I like that I don't have to water the plants every 2-3 days. It does work, and yes the posts are not long enough or should have some sort of stopper so it doesn't sink into the earth. Very easy to fill with water. What I didn't like is that the small hose from the water gauge to the earth comes off easily and on some won't go back on. Either the hose should be thinner or the gauge connector to the hose should have some sort of clip.
