1. On Buttress Threads the actual physical size of the union nut is larger. So, this 2” Female Buttress Thread actually measures approximately 3 1/16" inside diameter.
2. NOT for inflatable hot tubs.
The Heater Flange Split Nut mounts to the heater tube using 2 screws to hold it in place and screws onto the heater threaded union with a gasket between the union and tube.
If your plumbing is 2" and your heater is 2" this part is correct. This part is used in hot tubs to plumb a heater tube to a heater union.
Package includes (2) heater split nuts, (2) gaskets and (4) screws for use with a 2" heater tube & union.

A leaking hot tub: ugh. It was at the union for the heater tube. Ugh. Turns out, replacing it was really pretty easy. Now I have a small leak somewhere else that I can't find. Ugh.

I have a older hot tub. The seals were totally rotted out. And I doubted I would find replacements.These were the perfect fit. Could not be more happy

Fitting is difficult to get to on my hot tub, so ended up spending 2 hours wondering why I couldn't get this threaded until pulling everything out of the hottub and finding these split nuts are reverse thread. Complete waste of my time and money, and item description does not say reverse thread anywhere.

I don't want to give it a bad review. None of the others indicated which one it was either, nor did I know it was a problem until I tried to install it. Seller, In the future, please indicate which one it is.
