Finally, people are making these at a lower cost than the OEM ones. These fit perfectly. Haven't sheered one off yet to test, fortunately, but they seem identical to the official ones.

I’m not quite sure what’s wrong with them. Every time I hit a brick the darn bolt shears. It’s almost like it was made to do that.

It is such a pain to stage your blower, get ready for the cold, and go out to start a snow blowing job, that to have all of your efforts foiled by hitting something and shearing your auger bolts is just a nightmare.For this reason, it is important to keep extra pins on hand. With this set, I got so many pins, I feel like I may now have a lifetime supply!I have not had the "opportunity" to sheer one yet, so I can't remark on their effectiveness, but they are quality items that come with self-locking nuts, so if they are engineered correctly, they should stay tight and work as intended.

I live in the mountains of Montana and have a gravel driveway. Two years ago, I bought an EGO snowblower and had several fresh loads of gravel dropped on my driveway. Bad combination! For a while, I was going through a half-dozen shear pins each time it snowed. OEM Ego shear pins ran around $5.00 each, and off-brand pins were around $4.00 each. Either way, snowstorms got expensive!I was eventually able to get most of the snowblower-jamming rocks picked from my driveway, but it's still reassuring to have a supply of shear pins on hand. These AMTHKNO shear pins look just like the originals, and at the time I am writing this, they are less than $2.00 each. That's a much better deal. My only regret is that these weren't available on Amazon two years ago.
