Exactly as pictured, bugs in resin. Resin is done very nicely with zero air bubbles.

While this 20-piece insect-in-resin set is visually appealing and educational, I found it to be a bit too expensive for the overall quality. The variety of bugs is nice, and they do serve their purpose for educational use or as unique paperweights, but the quality just doesn’t quite justify the cost. If you’re really into bug collections, it might still be worth it, but for the casual buyer, it feels a bit overpriced.

I got these to help fill an advent calendar for my bug-obsessed son. He LOVES them but we were a bit displeased with so many very similar butterflies. Some are identical. Less butterflies and an identification pamphlet would be nice. Quality is good though!
