While these bags are thin, you will be set for awhile! This is a great price point for how much you get. The picture made me think it will come in the typical dispense packaging you would see in the store. This was more of a shipping box of bulk bags. I would not say this is liquid proof but with the size of the bag I wouldn't attempt to put liquid in it especially being on the thinner side. For sandwiches and a dry snack, it's not bad.

This is a lot of flip top sandwich bags, and if you have a restaurant or bakery I am sure you'd go through this supply pretty quickly. For my home kitchen, this supply will be passed down to my children because there's no way I will ever finish this box. That being said, these work great for a variety of applications. The fold down flap isn't super long so the bags don't quite close the way I am used to with flip top bags, but they can be kind of folded and rolled and work just fine. They're great for packing lunches - sandwiches, carrot sticks, cheese cubes, etc. Send home some leftovers with dinner party guests. They're even great for packing jewelry individually in a travel bag to keep necklaces from getting tangled. The possibilities (and the supply) are endless. Overall, a good product that I am glad to have on hand in my home now, but knocked off one star just for the short foldy flap.

For some reason, I expected these to be like branded Ziploc bags with the flap in that they'd be shiny clear plastic. They're not, but that's absolutely okay with me. These are definitely geared towards restaurant use with their crinkly texture and are more like the single use type gloves you'd see used to pick donuts out of a display case (can't think of a better description than that) than the more cling-wrap feel of most grocery store sandwich bags. They're the perfect size for standard sandwich bread and while the flap itself is a bit shorter than the name brand ones, they work great. These are a terrific value and would be ideal for a family with a lot of children or people who just like to buy in bulk to save money over the life of the product.

I am reviewing "2000 Saddle Bags 6.5" X 6.25" – Clear Plastic Deli Flip Top Sandwich Saddle Bags Bulk".For some reason I assumed this was a box of typical sandwich bags in a dispensing box that you pull one baggie out at a time, but these are not that. These are made for some sort of dispenser in a restaurant kitchen line. If you look at my photo of the opened box you will see what I mean. Very much like a bundle of grocery bags, and these bags are about the same thickness. The bags are on the thin side and the fold over flap seems to be much shorter than I am used to from your typical baggie. They do the job tho and with 2000 sandwich size bags in the box, I may never need to buy baggies again! WIth the cost of everything now days, I appreciate a good value for my dollar and this is a good one!

I use a ton of flip top sandwich bags for lunches so figured a big box of 2000 was a useful idea! There are indeed a ton of bags in this box, and they’re packed flat which does create efficiency for storage. However, the flap is a lot shorter than most flip top bags I’m used to. It’s sufficient, but not what I was expected. The images don’t include measurements for the flap, just the overall bag, so I guess I just made the assumption that it would be similar to what I’m used to and I guessed wrong. Also, the lay flat storage is great for for space, but not good for access. You have to grab a bag off the top and the box is just a standard cardboard box with a lid but no slot to pull the bag out of. So that makes them a bit difficulty to store in the box and use. I can see these being very helpful for large sandwich distribution efforts and such, but for home use, they have a few quirks that added a bit of difficulty.
