i received the product quickly. one i reviewed several viedo only on how to repolacethe battery on my PCX550 I opened it.first point: the original battery size if larger and fit well in the headset. The new one is smaller. This should not be a problem.Second point the original battery is 700mAh the new one is 1000 mAh. I guess the more the better here. voltage is the same 3.7Vone the change done I had not response from the headset.third point (and most important) : I check again and find out the polarity of the micro JST is inverted on the new battery. So I triple check with voltmeter and finally cut the red and black wire and correct the polarity of the JST plug : result is OK headset is working,I still have the headset opened and charging while I type this review. Will come back to inform about the running time once fully charged. I have 1 dot ticking now.I would check another supplier if I have to replace this one. I am not sure I did not cause any damage by plugging the battery with reversed polarity and trying to charge at the same time !

I used this battery to replace my original battery of my sennheiser pxc 550. after switching the cables as they are wrong (see other reviews) the replacement worked and also the headphones worked.BUTThe headphone indicator „low battery“ after around 6-7h (with the original battery it worked for around 30h till low battery). Although the headphone indicates low battery, the battery status leds still show around 50%.I assume that the voltage is slightly different to the original battery which is confusing the electric.I will try to return and would recommend to stay away from this product

bought this battery to replace original, which lasted for many years. Worked as it should for first 6 weeks, then died, despite being charged on a regular basis...won't take a charge anymore. Wonder how long it sat on the shelf before before being shipped out. Need to get a replacement again, but hesitant to order another one.

After more than four years of daily use, my PXC-550 were now down to 6-8 hours of battery life and, due to extremely noisy neighbours, I have to keep them on almost all day when I'm home, so that didn't work. I remember charging my headphones once a week when I first got them and I was now down to charging them multiple times a day!Haven't tested the full extent of the battery's life yet but it was reasonably easy to swap and I've also noticed that I get better Bluetooth reception in my apartment, the sound doesn't clip as much even when I am about 10 meters away from my computer with multiple walls in-between!Too bad this product doesn't seem to be available anymore... and yes, it is compatible with the PXC-550 V1 even though it seems to have a greater capacity from my layman understanding.

It's been a day in my Sennheiser Momentum 3's, and so far so good. Charges up and runs the headphones.Since I couldn't find any info about how to actually do the replacement on the 3's, here's a little bit of the process that I learned on the fly:- The battery is installed in the LEFT ear cup. I figured it would be the right since that's where you plug them in, but no, my battery was in the left cup.- The screws are small torx screws (I believe). I ended up using a T6 tip on my screwdriver at least.- My original battery had actually started bloating, which explains why it could only hold like an hour of charge near the end there.- I honestly thought I had broken something while I was attempting to replace the battery. Everything's packed in there a little loosely, so just be careful when you're going through the process.- Generally, I followed the instructions of the Sennheiser Momentum 2 battery replacement video. The steps are pretty much the same.

WARNING: Rechargeable Lithium-ion polymer (LiPo) batteries are potentially hazardous especially if damaged or improperly used can introduce FIRE HAZARD, cause SERIOUS INJURY and/or PROPERTY DAMAGE. DO NOT attempt what I did if you’re not familiar with the hazards of LiPo batteries. I’ve been in Electronics for over 40 years with extensive hands-on experience and have access to professional soldering equipment. This review is for individuals with hands-on soldering experience only and aware of the dangers of LiPo cells.That being said, I didn’t purchase this battery for a Sennheiser headset. In fact, I don’t even own any Sennheiser product of any kind. This battery is an alternative to the 3-Wire 802025 LiPo battery on my Dashcam. Functionality wise they are interchangeable with the same voltage rating of 3.7V Min / 4.2V Max. The capacity of the SDW battery is higher and better at 350mAh vs. 220mAh. The reason I choose this is because it is the only 3-Wire LiPo battery of this size that will work for my purpose and available on Amazon. It just happened to be for Sennheiser headsets. All 802025 and other generic LiPo batteries I come across are 2-wire only and without the third (white) wire for NTC Thermistor.For those unfamiliar, part number of small 1s (Single Cell) LiPo batteries like this one are actually their dimensions. An 802025 battery means 8.0mm thickness x 20mm Width x 25mm Height with ratings of 3.7V Min, 4.2V Max at 220mAh. This SDW headset battery is 4.5mm thick x 24mm Wide x 29mm height – (452429) with the same Min/Max Voltage rating but a higher and better capacity at 350mAh. It’s slightly bigger but fits at the battery slot where the old 802025 sat. The old battery was also soldered to the board so I had to snip the connector and solder the new battery to the board. So far, so good. With a new battery my dashcam is back to working as it should and retaining all settings whenever main power is turned off. How long will this SDW battery last, I honestly do not know. Only time will tell.

From the get go the battery never held more than 3 or 4 hours of charge and has held less and less charge progressively to the point where it is now completely useless. No response from seller. Don't waste your money.Update: seller has responded telling me to contact Amazon for a replacement, however the battery is out of the 30 day warranty period.
