These are nicely uniform, thick enough to be sturdy, and long enough to make good brooches. I like to add stone flower beads, which make longer-lasting flower pins than real ones. I add a bit of glue on the inside of the hole of whatever is meant to be the bottom-most bead, to hold it in place so everything doesn't slide around and fall off when putting on the finished piece. The cap to protect the wearer from the sharp tip works great!
