I have been an inventor and mechanic all my life and when it comes to tools and clips you need now, you better have them on hand. Had a power winch that had a broken external "C" clip, got tired of twisting wire around the grove. Ordered this kit and pliers from Amazon and that solved the problem in minutes, now I have this kit in stock if needed.

Have you ever lost or found a clip bent that you could not really make work? Then you go to the local automotive or motorcycle shop and they have one that you might be able to make work. Enough of that. It has already paid for itself in the number of times either myself or a bud has needed a clip. Every guy who works on his vehicles should have this in his shop.

This whole kit cost me the same as one genuine John Deere C-Clip for the top tranny pulley on my lawn tractor. The latch on the case came apart immediately, but the C-Clips are a bargain and the case fits in my fastener/hardware drawer. I wish I had just bought this first! (I ended up using one the C-Clips from this assortment anyway--the John Deere clip bent after I dropped the transmission so many times).
