It's a stainless steel water bottle, pretty simple design. The bottle Holds 2L but it is quite tall (just over a foot) so keep in mind it may be a bit awkward to fill. The cap seals on fairly well, so no leaks; however, the threaded portion and the handle appears to be two pieces fixed together but it rattles and wiggles - not sure how long term those two pieces would stay together. As far as the metal durability, I've knocked this bottle over several times and no dings, dents or paint chips so far. Keep in mind it's just one layer of steel so there's no real insulating i.e. cold water becomes room temp before long. The carrier is nice but doesn't really add much insulation. Keep in mind - avoid putting boiling/very hot liquids in here as the steam can pressurize and result in the contents spraying when you open.Not a big fan of drinking out of it however. The main issue is the pour spout and the length of the bottle. The spout is definitely BIG as mentioned - so you have to tilt the bottle pretty slowly or you end up spilling. As the your water level hits the half way mark it spills even easier - simply because the water has a much further way to travel so tilting makes it rush super fast through that wide mouth. A smaller opening that you're entire mouth could fit over would be ideal - so that regardless how haphazardly you drink it's not going to spill. Definitely something you need to be sitting upright to drink with two hands and not the greatest if you're grabbing it groggily in the middle of the night in bed - otherwise you're going to spill everywhere.Overall I'd rate it a 3.5/5 - I would spend a couple bucks more and grab one that includes various lids so you can pick and choose. I did reach out to the original manufacturer and they have no alternative or replacement lids available for this model. If they fix this at some point or sell a replacement sipping straw style lid it would be 5/5.
