These are wearing well. Sun can destroy these "frog logs" but when put in the pool they will nearly 100% eliminate drowned frogs or small critters in the skimmers. Easy to use and install, just blow up, put some rocks in the pouch and lay at edge of pool. In N. Texas and we don't winterize here so pool open 365 days a year.

My husband laughed at me for buying these, but I was tired of fishing frogs out of our pool or, worse yet, finding them dead in our skimmers. He isn't laughing anymore. Great product!

Don’t think they would work for larger animals.

These are decent for price and will work, but I feel they have lost some quality over time since I have purchased them before.

Two of these have been in my pool for nearly a month, and on mornings when I would have expected to pull a bunch of frogs and toads out of the pool, there have been none. It's definitely working. I've seen some silly reviews posted, such as defective stitching (well, just ask for a refund on Amazon Prime and get a replacement), color fades (mine have not faded after a month of hot sun exposure (but even if they to fade, who cares?), and that they don't stay in place, will float away (well anybody with half a brain would realize that you have to anchor these with something like a brick, see photo). Also, reports of mice or squirrels drowning in spite of this ramp being in place: well, any critter who falls into the pool and isn't able to swim over to the ramp, isn't going to be able to save itself from drowning. Frogs and toads, on the other hand, can swim to the ramp and climb out. but not turtles. Mine is working quite well, thank you.
